  1. Jeremy - I had to upgrade from my Lowrance Gen1 HDS5 to HDS9 Gen2 to drive the auto pilot, pretty sure it wont run off your Elite Ti7, but might be worth a call to Lowrance. I run the Lowrance autopilot on a Yamaha 115 4 stroke with Seastar hydraulic steer. After its all connected and hydraulics bleed I did need to do a software update to my HDS9 Gen2 during the commissioning of it, got the download off the web at Lowrance site, and after that it was straight forward and worked ever since, I probably have a couple hundred hours on it and no issues.
  2. X2 - Hank at L&M Marine. Lowrance autopilot is working flawless on my outboard.
  3. Brett - we got the kings bitting yesterday straight out front in 300-350fow with SD and flies. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  5. Awesome fish Anthony! Hope to see you out there soon. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  6. Out in front of Webster last night in 150 fow with SD and Fly - lots of Lakers!
  7. Left the bay and headed NW, set up in 100 with a three rod spread - 1 rigger down 100, running Die Hard spoon took 4 kings (skippy, #6, #6 and #10) fleas where horrific on the mono. 300 Copper with Atomic Melon took 1 king (#10). 240 wire with SD frog, Green Crinkle fly 1 king (#25+), 1 Laker (#15). Trolled from 100 - 300 fow, screen was the best at 150fow - early bites with some nice waves, then went to calm by 9am and shut down. Have a good, safe weekend. Eric
  8. Awesome fish, thank you for sharing. I have read, and read about this and always wanted to try - its on my list.
  9. Guys - took it out for the first sea trial last night in I-Bay, there was a chop in the bay and I was impressed with it. I took it in/out of Stand By mode (manual vs auto) with no issues from both the GPS and override button. The system was quite for sure and adjusted my line often and stayed on line perfectly. This is my first experience with an autopilot, so can't give you much comparable thoughts. Installation on my small boat was not difficult except for space and layout - I cut an access panel and put the pump, network, computer and electrical in there. I did most all the install minus the electrical breaker and bleeding the hydraulics (that's a two man job for sure) - its doable to DIY. I did not see any interference on my sonar while in auto mode. One issue was when I first powered unit up to commission it, my new HDS9 could not find my autopoliot, after a couple calls to lowrance we finally got it resolved my software was v4.0 and needed to be upgraded to v5.5, after that it went smooth. Lowrance tech support was average, I build and support software for a living so I think they could be better. PM me if you have specific questions. I hope to have more thoughts when I start lake fishing asap. Eric
  10. Just wanted to give a shout out to Hank at L&M in Port Bay, he helped me complete the lowrance autopilot install both on his phone and in person. Great work and great person. Thanks Hank.
  11. Awesome Steve. Looks like a nice day on the water. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. Took a quick afternoon trip out of I-Bay with a friend that's recovering from health issues. We headed NE out of bay and started to set up in 130FOW. We ended up 3/9 and just had a really hard time keeping them on. The spoon of the day was a Stinger Diehard UV - down 90, took 5 hits and landed 2 salmon, #25 and #8. 300 Copper with a Warrior Lemon Ice took a good shot and Kevorkian SD with A-Tom-Mic Green Crinkle out 280 - took a good couple rips and landed a #12 Laker. Just ran a three rod spread. My buddy finally got his Salmon, took all his strength to get it in, made the day! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
