  1. Well, I've been misinformed then. I was aware of one of the small eastern tribs showing signs of natural repo. Decent amount of private property. It gets slightly more pressure now that the town developed and promoted that little trail system there. Shoot me a pm. I'm intrigued as to which the other is. 2. Well, I was implying collecting the loose eggs after a catch. I believe it's legal to have up to a quart of eggs on you stream side. Not including eggs you may have in harvested fish. Sent from my VS930 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  4. Does anyone have an opinion on milking fish? Is that unethical die to the stress it causes the fish? I know there's a lot of guys out there that milk and release. Sent from my VS930 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. We invest money into pen rearing projects to imprint fish to specific tribs and I think a little something extra should be done to protect that investment. Eliminating brown egg use could potentially benefit. But it come at the expense of infringing on a sportsman right to a type of fishing. I understand that closing access to public water also infringes on someone's right to fish during the year. Conservation is an up hill battle. There's people on both sides of the fence. However, fact remains that common ground does need to be found because abuse of our outdoor resources is an ongoing issue that needs to be addressed before its too late. 6. I'm not a biologist and have very limited environmental knowledge but I just gotta imagine if that many more fish were able to make it upstream instead of being corralled under the bridge or at the syc stretch it would have to do some good. I'm sure it's like that at many of the smaller tribs. Sent from my VS930 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. Gambler, the creek you dock your boat at actually has significantly better natural brown reproduction than the majority of others around. You really don't think closing the lower stretches for even just 3 consecutive days early in the run would provide some benefit? Sent from my VS930 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. I feel like it would be punishing those guys that consider part of 'not wasting' using eggs from harvested trout to use as bait to catch more fish to put food on the table for their families. Its a cycle. I agree that salmon eggs can be just effective. I'm a jig fisherman, myself. Its just slightly unfair to those few guys who actually are on the up and up and are conscious about their use of the entire harvest. Sent from my VS930 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. It's also selfish of me Sent from my VS930 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. I know what I want is unrealistic. But realistically if you shut down these KILL ZONES for even just 2 consecutive days in early November it would make a difference. Sent from my VS930 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. How about I clear up for you the fact that most of us know there is minimal reproduction and the reason I would like to see certain sections of certain water closed to fishing during specific weeks is because I'm sick of seeing 30 vehicles from various other states up and down the east coast show up packed with 4 guys a piece that will keep their limit for 3 consecutive days during a trip to wny. In low water years like the past two, fish have zero chance of making it through these gauntlets of yahoos. I'd like to see some fish make it upstream to spread out and give me something to fish to all winter. This is also why I'd like to see the brown trib limit dropped. 12. I disagree with the regulation of egg use. Sent from my VS930 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. I think certain sections of some water needs to be closed to fishing during peak spawning and run times. I'd like to see the Brown trib limit lowered to a single fish. Sent from my VS930 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. Was at sandy the morning. Tiny bit of ice on the ramp but you should be able to launch no problem. Sent from my VS930 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  21. Is the gym located in the building that sits closest to the street? Just moved to Hamlin and I'm completely unfamiliar with the public buildings. I definitely am looking to participate this year. Sent from my VS930 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  22. My buddy Ron swears by hank. I just don't feel like making the trip. Especially when I think it's for something minor. Sent from my VS930 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  24. I have an older 9.9 mercury that hasn't been run in probably 15 years. Its in awesome shape. I bought it new when I was 15 and just never really used it after high school. Super low hours on it. I want to get it looked at and see what it would take to get her going again. Anyone have any recommendations on where to take it or know someone that would be interested in looking at it?
  25. And people have been fishing in that cove since I've been alive. Never said if it was good or not. Sent from my VS930 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app
