Thanks to Doghouse, we got the hang of things and limited today. Mix bag of lakers, browns and one Atlantic. It was good until we got blown off. NOAA was a little off today. 2-4 was a solid 3-5. Oh yeah and my cousin blew chow. -

Looking for some help here. I am pretty new to this. I used to just hang a rod off the side and go and did pretty well but decided to start using boards and riggers. I went out yesterday and got blanked off of Bear. Any help as far as how far the boards go. How far behind them and the same for the riggers. Also what is a good speed. Thanks in advance.

Yeah Art passed away. Also a bunch of guys on the north end of Conesus. I don't know how well there doing. Its been slow

Saw a guy go through on Long Pond yesterday. He was about fifty yards from shore. The ice is still not good enough to bother going out to not catch many if anything. Besides the water is way to shallow where the ice is somewhat good. Be safe.
