  1. kind of a slow day, but the kids had fun my daughter has been raised in a boat, we were able to get my buddies youngest out today for her first trip

fished long point, it was the first time in my life the parking lot was almost full, caught a few lakers but couldn't manage to find a single rainbow or salmon

  2. I've tried several different way's  the best for me, bounce it 3 times and reel as fast as you can

my biggest fish always come on the retrieve, some almost on the surface

the biggest thing to remember, they don't always bite even when they're right under you, we've fished for hours with nothing to show, then all of a sudden they turn on and we catch 15 in a hour, then bamn nothing for hours

another thing of note, the fish are everywhere rite now,  in another month they'll concentrate deeper

  3. i've been looking to upgrade for a long time, finally found what i think is the perfect boat for me  Alumacraft trophy 190

i do a lot of laker jigging and casting for walleye, i also wanted to be able to troll

picked this up a month ago, finally got it set up,  need to add a vertical tree then it will be done

  4. upgraded to a bigger boat so i'm selling this one it's a 2000 crestliner fishhawk 1600 side console oil injected 70hp johnson

i planned on doing a little work to it before selling, however i thought if someone wanted to save a little money, and take it as is i'd offer here cheaper

it has a ding on the prop and needs a new bilge pump, it's never leaked a drop so i never bothered replaceing it

has a new helix 5 FF and 55# minnkota trolling motor

boat is still in storage until mon 4/22  i'll post more pics when i pull it out    3,500$   dryden NY

  5. bob, I was in a green crestiner, bait was all over, however we marked very few big fish

I usually do better when the lake is rough, it's hard to stay on them, but they bite better for me

I just had to work out a good process,

I haven't had any luck in that area this year, normally we do very well there, next week we're going to launch at union springs try the other end

  6. took a good buddy out sunday on otisco his stepdad had never fished on a lake before, only streams and the ocean

what turned out a slow day jigging for walleye, turned out pretty exciteing for him, caught his first smallie, and it was a jumbo

had a little extra excitement bringing it in, it was hit hard by a tiger, both sides were tore up pretty good,
