HEADED TO SENACA IN am with my small boat 17' tracker my islander is still put away anyhow i was wondering if running my otters with sticks might produce first thing in am i dont have riggers on this boat only have 2 lead and 2 dipsys so a few lures on otters would be great if tghey might produce i was all sent to head to mex for lake o browns but wave report changed for worse

most lake o guys i know say run copper not leadcore but leadcore seerms to be favirote among finger lake guys why is that?

i am in the process of buying a copuple of leadcore setups pre rigged with 10 colors prob okuma 45 reel is this setup gonna get me down to 100'+ ? what would i need to do or even can i get down to 100' with leacore going 2.0 ish i see alot of people catching lakers with leadcore and i imagine they must be down at least 100' yet i cant find a single chart that goes any deeper than like 50' thnx

i was wonderring how many feet out and what setting on yuo dipseys you were running i am new to dipsys and have wire but no good chart out to depths needed i am surprised that lakers are that deep i thoought that they would be shallower this time of year i am new to this so any info would be great thnx

i have a 2006 tracker pro guide 17 walk thru 90 hp merc i bought it last year from a guy in another state the hull has numerous pressure cracks i missed as well as a major leak on the keel where weld is cracked on inside of boat called tracker and they toldd me that there is no hull waranty on a boat that old iam stuck with a leaky boat untill i can getr it welded dont make same mistake as me

Took guides test 3 yrs ago basic out door knowledge test. Make sure you know the classes of life preservers and flotation devices if you have a boating endorsement it will be on there. There is a separate test for use boat then there is for fishing. Fishing section Had questions like this. When ice melts on a lake Which part melts first. Middle , edge, or melts evenly. Make sure you know boat right of way and overtaking. As it will be on there. If you are a capt Im sure you know it.
