  5. Some previous trash talk on Tracker I wanted to clarify... any of their new generation Deep V hulls 2011+ are great all welded boats and well laid out cost effective platforms. I have over 650hrs on mine on it's 3rd season on Lake Ontario and I arguably fish it harder then anyone to date. April through October. It's been an excellent boat on the big lake and it wouldn't nearly see the abuse on the finger lakes that I put it through here. You'll likely find a few of these used and well-priced. I would highly recommend the boat if you do. Just get a 4 stroke. Sent from my SM-G920V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  12. A good driver can keep the boat and what it's pulling out of harms way. Requires a lot of attention to what's in front of you and anticipation of your best route through traffic. Though you can't control some inexperienced people who think it's fine to cut right behind you, we haven't had to panic-reel any copper or dipsey setups in all season. 19. Headed in to battle early again and like days past, the 450 copper proved to be deadly. The copper took a shot and a few feet of line flew off... everyone jumped up and watched the rod and no sooner then I said "he can come back and grab it"... it did and line started smoking off the reel. My dad grabbed the setup and was wrestling another monster on the copper for the next 25 minutes. It almost spooled us twice. Great fight as we landed our first major king of the day. Redeployed the copper after lots of high fives and celebrating. 15 minutes later it again starting screaming behind the boat. My dad looked at my buddy like "I'm not doing that again" and my buddy quickly jumped on the rod. It felt like another major on the line and when it got closer it actually jumped out of the water and allowed us to confirm the size. Another nicely executed battle and we quickly realize it's bigger then the last one. That fish made his entire trip. Good memories. Sent from my SM-G920V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  23. Lake was flat as Jenny Collins in 9th grade today so we headed out around the lighthouse to fish out front of stony creek in 110-130fow. My college buddy flew in last night to get in on some of the action - he's never done this type of fishing before so has been looking forward to it for some time. Ended up working pretty hard for his first king but got one nonetheless. Picked up two pesky lakers also. Beautiful Weather today. Sent from my SM-G920V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
