    I have a Humminbird 788C (sonar/gps). It came with my boat but I have used it on erie/ontario for last 3 years without any issues. No charts with it. Comes with unit and mount, transom mounted transducer and white humminbird gps puck. The ONLY thing needed is wire for from battery to unit. Asking 350 obo (dont be afraid to make an offer) for everything shipped to lower 48.

    I use PayPal all the time also. I believe the fees is up to the seller if he paypal with the intention that fees are involved unless he stats will only accept as gift.     I am in the market for a fish finder. Sounds like a lot of guys love their furuno 587. I am not set on buying a furuno or a furuno 587 so if there are other suggestions, I would love to hear them. I mostly fish lake erie but on occasions make it to lake ontario. Most of my fishing is trolling. It will be put on a 94 sportcraft 232 fishmaster. I notice their are a lot of tranducer options. Is there a transom mounted transducer that you can get the most out of the machine. From what I have read it that your not going to get the most out of the ff is you go with the a cheap transducer. Kinda like puttil slicks on a truck. Any info would be great. Nick
