  4. Please don't target these fish. The season opener is really not that far off and you will be fishing for them legally before you know it.i myself can't wait but for now i will be busy with the browns to pass time.
  5. The forcast does not look good - cold and windy and maybe some snow.temps are high 30's but with the wind chill not looking good for ya.the browns are in harbor.good look to ya if you make it up.
  6. I went down to the oswego habor this morning and watched a guy land a brown. Water is nice there. My boat will be ready next week and i only live 5 blocks away so if you need a report for the day your coming let me know and i will be glad to give ya the lake conditions.
  7. Is the fishing good around this area for musky or not so much.i know there is pike around there but never tried..I Just moved oswego and looking to catch a few.I love to fish not just for trout and salmon.i use to fish champlain and got some monster pike trolling big spinner rigs with 8 to 12 inch suckers and that was a blast.or what about the oswego river up from the dam. Thanks for any info from you guys.I love this site and really looking forward to meeting and fishing with some you.
  8. So there trying to tell me (a ex marine) what guns i can and cant have.all i can tell them (my goverment) is good luck trying to stop me.
  9. Trolling is better for sure.i have seen poeple casting from there boats to the outer break wall.sometimes the browns there will use the outer breakwall to trap a school of baitfish and feed.if your there earlly in spring or water temps are cold i have had better luck with rapalas, smithwicks , ect.and better luck with spoons as the water temp warms up.pay attention to the wind direction there i personally have better catches trolling into the wind.the browns last year you couldnt keep of your lines and the salmon where there as well.it was a really good year there last year with the salmon being there that earlly.i just moved to oswego permentally.good luck
  10. Oh sorry i cant spell good i had a tbi in the marine corp so spelling really sucks for me
