  1. Today was the last leg of the of Bald Eagle Series. With the forecast I almost pulled the plug not wanting to get thrown around for 7 hrs in a tin boat, but fishing is like crack so we headed out. Broke the pier heads at 515 to an angry Lady O at 3-5 footers. Original plan was work offshore to get our three majors then grind the inside for upgrades. With the wind out of the north that 13 mile run went to the back burner real quick. We set up just east of the nose in 50fow sliding out. Immediately had a tank break off my ten color pulling a Standard Glow frog, tough start. We ran a basic 6 rod spread . 2 riggers cheated , 2 Dipsy , and 2 off the boards. After 2 hrs we were 2/4 but released both (12lb king 4lb brown) knowing they would not do anything . So we pulled the the plug on a gorgeous screen and decided to run Offshore. We ran to 400fow on a North troll and it didn’t take-long for the rods to get moving. Cheaters and long lines were the ticket. 10 color for first 3 hrs then 300 coppers took over. By 11 we had our majors with an upgrade and some nice steelhead. We circled waypoint and best depths were 420-450. At noon we went to a south troll and figured we would ride the waves to the Port.We picked along the way and when we got in to 70fow we got another stubborn mature to go. We finished 3rd with just over a 19lb average and felt goo, but knowing we didn’t have a ringer. There’s a ton of good fishing offshore for a bit no need to play bumper cars inside[emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  4. Thank you Dickey. This is truly a special event for my team. It was nice to meet other LOU members and all the participants. We had fisherman from Bald Eagle , Braddocks, Genessee River , Oak Orchard, and even guys off Lake Erie. Also so many friends and family. I’v always said the fishing community is the greatest in generosity and this just keeps proving it. I hope more people getting involved to support these ladies Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  10. Reelin for a Cure 2019[emoji476][emoji173]️ Hope for Two As I write this I’m still truly amazed at the amount of people that supported my little team. I thinks it’s important for everyone to know why we established this team and why we put our entire heart into promoting this great cause. Captain Vince Pierleoni reached out to me two seasons ago to encourage me to be apart of his wife’s charity event. When he dropped me this message my cousin Evie was battling cancer and this was a small opportunity for us to show Evie that we loved her and she was on our hearts. I called Evie and told her what we were doing and who the benefactor was Feel Good Look Better. As we talked Evie told me of how she just came back from one their events and she felt like a million bucks after. It was just another validation of why we needed to be apart of this. Last yr my team raised $675 to be donated on behalf of Evie. To say it felt amazing to be able to present that small token from our friends and loved ones would be an understatement. As this season came up Evie called me and said she was coming to fish this with us. However Evie passed before this event, only cementing why we will be making this an annual event. As we got ready for the event my mom Joadie Evans Goodison, Amy Kujawsky, aunt Shirley Vanderworken, and my daughter Kamaniie were more excited than ever to show our support to woman battling Cancer and using the day to remember my beautiful cousin. We started today with adding up all of the donation to see if we met our goal of $750............. $1,710[emoji173]️[emoji173]️[emoji173]️[emoji173]️[emoji173]️[emoji173]️[emoji173]️ is what was entrusted with us to donate to Reelin for a Cure. One more time $1,710[emoji173]️[emoji173]️[emoji173]️[emoji173]️[emoji173]️[emoji173]️. I cannot thank everyone enough for being apart of our team and making this enormous donation. Today was a day to remember our loved ones who have/are battling cancer and raise money to help woman in need going through the battle today and we ....KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE BALLPARK..... Everyone that donated last yr did so again and triple the amount of people joined in THANK YOU. We hope to keep growing our teams impact and be a blessing this great event. I hope everyone joins us again next season and show just how much love and support for the Ladies we have. Thank you Stephanie Moot-Pierleoni for everything you do and to all your support staff. From the ladies of Chasing Chrome thank you to all who donated to our team making this donation possible. We’re excited for 2020. #evienorthstars Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. After a long day Friday fishing in Reelin for a Cure I was too exhausted to make the morning run. So I decided on a afternoon run and took out LOU member wishinfishin to hopefully get him in on some good fishing. With the flip that happened I decided to run Offshore for couple hrs then if we wanted to pack up and run in tight for the last 2 hrs. We ran straight off the nose to 450fow and set up on a north troll. Once we broke 500 we starting get bit with a decent steelhead bite on the cheaters and ten color. We generated 6 bites over the course of two hrs 5 steelhead and one mature king. We then decided to try and setup in the inside. We dropped in 150 of water and were greeted with the intense cold. We looked at blanks screens all the way into 70fow. With 2 hrs to go we pulled the plug and ran all way back offshore to the 30 line in a north troll with the intentions of filling his box. It didn’t take long and the bites started right up. Everything was off the riggers and ten colors. About an hr before dark they really went in the feed and we boxed him out . Great trip out Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. We had a very hard time for Kings today. We went 8/8 in 400-475fow 1 king 6 Steelhead 1 Atlantic I felt we needed to be in 550+ but with the swales my Ladies couldn’t make it out there or search 50-80fow but the fog was so thick I felt it was dangerous to even think of trolling in it. Tomorrow I’ll be 550+ off Devils Nose in the afternoon Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
