    Agreed 1.5" is fantastic by my standards. Just put mine in the safe. Ok won't be able to get it out for a little bit but I'm confident it'll do the job.

    One thing that's for sure is they are not making any more land if you can pick some up the only direction the value of it will go is up! Sounds like a black locust cabin would be nice and the lumber from your food plot would provide for it nicely!

    The Mrs is going to get me one for Christmas. I'll let you know how it turns out. From everything I read it's a solid rifle and shoots tight repeatable groups at 300yds. Can't wait!

    Hunted Tuesday night was real hot. Just after 4 once the sun got low in the sky the chase was one bucks running does right out of the bedding areas.

    Had a nice 8-10 nose to the ground grunting like a made man running a dos all around a hay field around 445. Seemed like as soon as the sun dropped lower in the sky and the temps got down a bit things picked up in 9h

    Check out the NYSDEC website for state lands near you. Plenty of good land around. Just beware once gun season starts it can be the Wild West.

    Anyone roll and tip Interlux Brightsides steel gray on their boat? Any pics? Would like to repaint the inlays on my sabre and want to get an idea on how dark it is. Thanks.

    Many boats anchored out of sturgeon this afternoon. Not sure how they did. We did 2 big ones but pulled the anchor to keep the kiddos from rocking around to hard and drifted for a while. Never really saw a "big" school on the graph. My little one doubled on white bass on her perch rig. Everyone hates those things but they do put smiles on the little ones faces.
