  1. Was shopping for some new flashers and came across some that were "RGV". Tried my Google-Fu, but apparently it is too weak. Hoping someone can clue me in to what it means.
  2. I would also be interested in some of them. Please let me know if you decide to part them out.
  3. Would you consider selling the cowbells separately? If so, how much shipped to Illinois?
  4. Thanks for the insight. I appreciate it.
  5. You are most likely correct. Thinking I should confirm that before I go too far down this road. Don't really trust BPS and I am the second owner. Would be good knowledge to have too.
  6. Truth. The remote works ok, but seems to lose its bearing on occasion. Happened once last year in some wind and chop. Ended up spinning the boat in a circle before I knew what was happening. Lots of fun untangling a six rod spread in those conditions. Left me doubting it's long-term viability and searching for something better.
  7. I am not sure. Second owner of the boat. Paperwork/on-line info says "dual cable rack and pinion". What is the best, easiest way to confirm that determination? Boat is a 2011 Tracker Targa V-18 WT
  8. I have a 19 foot walk-through with a 150 and a 9.9 kicker. Have been trolling with the kicker pushing and the bow-mount trolling motor steering. Was contemplating upgrading to auto-pilot after talking to a guy at the cleaning station last fall but realize that I know nothing about it. Pros and cons? Who makes a good system? Cost? Installation issues? Can I run it with my GPS? If there is a thread that covers all this, please let me know. Don't want to waste anyone's time.
  9. Thanks for the response. That is kinda' what I figured. Just wanted to make sure. PITA returning on-line purchases.
  10. Are all track and rod holders interchangeable? Will Bert's holders fit in Traxtech track?
  11. Thinking about adding a second set of dipsies to my spread. Currently run wire dipsies. I see that many people run wire and braid. Is there a benefit to running wire with braid? Why not just run all wire? Is that because they started with braid before they went to wire rigs? Are you limited to rigs you can run on the one side - ie 10" paddles on both rigs? What about rod length? Is it really necessary to have one rod longer than the other? Any tips or advice on making this happen with the least amount of pain would be greatly appreciated.
  12. Have used a Tohatsu 8hp for the last two years with zero issues. Pushes my 19 foot Deep-V nicely and sips gas. Bought it from online outboards.com. Was shipped in a few days and I went and picked it up at the FedEx terminal. Would do it again without hesitation.
  13. No ****. Never had to work so hard to give someone my money. Don't answer emails either.
  14. Another vote for Convectors. Have 30s, 40s and 55s with no issues. Get the high speeds for your longer copper and core rigs. I also run the older version of Diawa's Accudepth 47LCs for my wire lines as well. If the price was the same, I would give the Coldwaters a hard look. Have heard good things about them. Regardless of the brand/model, a smooth drag is key. For older reels, Tuna Tom sells upgrade parts. You can find some shops selling new reels with the drags slready upgraded.
  15. Props to Bikinibottom. Couldn't be more satisfied with my weights.
  16. +1 Here is their web page (still have to buy through e-bay store. Good quality. Ridiculous selection. Good service. Home (fishingluretape.com)
  17. If you are still making weights, I would like a pair of 12 pound torpedos. Let me know and I will send a check your way. Sent you a PM as well.
  18. I'll take them if Outwest passes Let me know if they are still available.
