    Awful day of fishing. Nice day to be out but not much action for me. Washed just about everything and got one laker around 6lbs. Released right after. Called it a day around 3. Back at dock, some slob brings bucket to look at board, decides his lakers wont make cut and throws them belly up in water next to launch. Lost my **** on him in front of marina owner. People are disgusting.

    Every trip is usually different. Only got em on a certain plug last time up. Change till you start hitting em. If I matched spoon to plug, woulda been bigger than a mag.

    Right now try 40 down over40 to 80. Water temp this time of year has em bout 40 down. Be sure to post reports as this forum is to help others. Goodluck!

    I have a two deep cycle batterys on perko switch. Main and kicker and one rigger on starting battery, fishhawk and one rigger hooked to other battery. The the rigger on cranking battery seems to run out of juice after only a couple times of setting it. To me it seems like they were wired inline correctly. Should I have kicker wired to battery 2 to keep a better charge on it? Any ideas are appreciated! Thanks!

    2 for 4. One laker, one small bow. Released bow. All hits came on green/ crome rapala on 3 color core off big board. Could not get bit on anything else. Was shakedown an brought wife, so late start.

    Mine kept collapsing as well. In the midst of pulling it back open (anger/swear) it flew apart and half sunk. Pool noodle is going on this time. If that dont work, im going hi tech.

    Lesson learned! The hard way again of course. Now if i could only buy the missing half. Guess I need to suck it up and replace it

    Yes, I had the right one, was trying to adjust the tension screw and it came apart.

    you didnt remove the old transom? I saw my cousin replace the transom on small aluminum and don't want to imagine doing that to islander.

    Lost my ez steer first time using it on lady O. Now im looking at electro steering for kicker. Anyone use panther T4? Any suggestions on this or other brands? At $150 a pop on steering rods at the rate im going, i might as well try something else.
