  4. I've read about some things I hope someone could explain what and where these things are. So the red can, the bar, the windmill. Thanks for the help. I like to try new spots but don't really want to wonder around aimlessly Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  6. Yes did try flashers and fly. Only hits were on spoon only! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  7. Found lots of bait hanging around 90-120 FOW. Worked that from Pultneyville to Sodus Pt. Got one 12 lb. Brown on a spoon 80' down and had a MONSTER hit on a copper out 190' with a dipsey, snubber, 20lb leader and Magnum Wonderbread spoon. It broke the leader. Figure it was either a King or a Nuclear Submarine We saw a lot of Mud Chicken marks on the bottom. Couldn't even get one of them to bite with cowbells and a Sutton. Lake was a little bumpy at times, we had high hopes for toplines but not a single hit . Defiantly a slow bite. Best part of the day was watching my buddy's kid reel in the biggest fish he has ever caught
  8. No bottom coat. I might even remove the old bottom coat on the rest of the boat this winter. It always on a trailer so I really don't need it. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  9. Agreed! Plus the lower motor mounts are always under water and were not sealed very well
  10. its a 84 240 offshore. I found how bad is was when I drilled the holes for the kicker motor bracket.
  11. Price depends on how much work needs to be done. If he did all the work it would have been $5500.00
  12. Late this winter I found out the transom on my boat was totally rotten . A catastrophic boat failure was not too far in the future. I am posting the before and after pictures as a HUGE thank you to BW Customs Inc. Boat Repair 315-553-2495 Sodus,NY. Bill Whitcomb (owner) coached me on taking the old transom out then he did the install saving me a lot of money . There is no way this transom was this tough the day the boat rolled of the line from the factory! Bill did an amazing job and I cant wait to get this powered up and back on the lake .
  13. Thanks guys, looks like I'm going to have to go to Canada for the next week or so to battle this north wind
