  1. I've been quiet, but not because I haven't been fishing. I just haven't been catching. From the middle of July up until this week, water temps have been in the 70's. Once that happened, it has been very tough to get on fish. In the last week, temps have come down to the mid 60's, and the fishing is on. Between 930am and 130pm I put 6 fish in the boat. Once the wind picked up, they were on. 3 of the fish I didn't measure or bring out of the water. 2 of the fish were 37" and the biggest was a fat 40" with a 21" girth. 5" Bakers got the job done once again. 4. Absolutely. I wish there was a 40" limit on every tiger lake. I feel as though the lakes which are not stocked with as many fish as Otisco would benefit even more. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. Yeah Ivan! That is awesome. They don't have a clue what they are in for yet lol. I can 2nd the pink tiger Baker. Your daughter has it figured out already! Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  7. In my little experience, 3.2mph is to slow this time of year when water temps are this high. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. Keep circling where you are marking the fish, put a bait 5' above them, and put the hammer down. Don't be afraid of 4-4.5 mph Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. Almost 30 for me! I'm headed out all weekend. Just got in from getting the boat ready and spooling some new reels. Good luck Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  13. Or get hooks in yourself. I'll stick with my methods. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. I don't doubt it. I catch them on tandem inline spinners. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. Fishing for big predator fish requires a large coated net. That could have easily injured the fish. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. Good luck! Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. No. We covered a lot of water, marked bait, and marked fish. It just wasn't a day they wanted to eat. Fish are being caught though. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. I'm headed to Clayton Saturday. Can't wait Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. Thank for the report! It's been terribly slow for me up here, and while most suggest to speed up, I may slow down. The last fish I caught two weeks ago hit at 2mph running 10' down over 22 fow when I was still setting other lines and not up to speed yet. Thinking it was just a fluke, I went up to 3.8 and 4mph+ like normal. Now this has me wondering, and I'm going to pull it back a bit. Maybe I'll get the leadcore out and do a little experimenting. 21. This weekend I'm going to run at least one bait right on bottom. I've been getting them suspended higher in the water column, but I have a feeling some bruisers are holding deeper. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  22. Thanks for the feedback. I was just curious if the fish were doing similar things from lake to lake. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  23. Surface temp for me sunday up here was 72.6. The fish I marked highest in the water column was down 8' over 32'. But most are cruising deeper. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  24. Are you mostly seeing fish relating to bottom down there? Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  25. I'd would say that fish was right around 30lbs for sure. Congrats! Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
