  4. Got an early start out of Mexico point set up in 100fow and trolled out to 260.Best screen was at 225... no signs of bait but marked a few fish close to the bottom(lakers?).One skippy for all the hard work on a SD fly combo..because I don't yet own a temperature probe is sort of guess work...will try again tomorrow. On a different note I just retired and I'm looking for a fishing partner. I own a camp in Williamstown and fish out of either of two boats a 17" center console bay boat and a 19'deep v Bayliner trophy. Intend to be in the area through November. Anyone interested? also if you'd rather fish out of your boat and need a wing man that would also work for me. give me a shout. Thank you,
  5. I fished in front of the plant from 250 fow 100ft down and caught a laker. Also grabbed a king in 156fow 80ft down. The action is starting to pick up. Good luck!
  6. I'm getting my boat ready. I'll be going out of Mexico bay next Monday and the rest of the week weather permitting. Thanks for the fishing report.
  7. I too was there last Friday and fished on 70fow 35 to 40 ft down.got my limit on coppers and downrigger with j-plug ladder back green and two on a dream weaver sea sick waddler spoon. This week you'll probably need to fish a little shallower. Good luck.
  8. I was chasing salmon on Mexico bay last week(Friday) and got my limit in 2 hours.i was fishing copper 250ft and 200ft back in 70fow in front of the salmon river.Got two with sea sick waddler spoons and one on a magnum j-plug ladder back green. I'm planning on doing it again this weekend.im convinced that the Browns might be a little shallower.i'd try stingray spoons in 40fow. Good luck!

  11. no,you must use ammonia
  12. Place your garbage in a plastic bag, pour one cup of ammonia in it. Seal it nicely and leave it out by the trees .....when the bear(s) burst the bag their sensitive noses get a whiff of the ammonia and they'll never come back. This was I did when I lived in the Poconos and had regular bear visits. The local game Warden told me to do this and worked like a charm. Good luck!
