    Adirondack Salmon Chowder

    In Cape Cod with the fam on our summer vaca.... Had a rain day earlier this week. I decided to make chowder. Substituted Fresh local Cod and fresh clams. Also used fresh clam broth and couple other little substitutions.... The chowder was an instant hit! Kept the broods' spirits high for an entire rain day. Great recipe. Thank you!!

    I like the American angler because it is so comfortable in ur hand for long periods of time. It is the best electric knife i have owned. Love the trigger and solid build.

    To the point of Prof T and others, I know a few guys that fish commercially and they swear by the old sun beam, GE, etc. Very inexpensive at second hand stores and garage sales. They sure do last.

    Good stuff kevin! I enjoy the seclusion and unique beauty of the Maine coast. My wife and little ones enjoy the warmer waters of Cape Cod. So we are headed to Falmouth this summer for our family vacation. Not looking forward to crowds and the awful drive. Very much looking forward to QT with the fam, wetting a line, and a good lobster roll!! Always enjoy your pics kevin.

    Chaumont bay walleye questions.

    Historically this may be true but Im not sure I agree as much now......The market has been greatly impacted by Canadian supply the last couple years (as everyone knows). The only folks making money on fish are at the mid and end points of distribution. Lucky to break even perching commercially at 1.00 #.

    Chaumont Bay for the opener, any pointers?

    The numbers of ice fishermen on chaumont bay was just insane this year.... usually you can get away from the hoards during the week but not this past year... always 75-150 guys out. And the weekends!! Forget it! 750-1000 people with nice weather. Not fun at all. Total bummer. I dont think its going to improve anytime soon. [emoji20]
