  1. I highly recommend a Franchi Affinity 20g with a 26” barrel. Light, fast, and a great value IMO. I have 2 20’s: one that is my go-to upland gun and one that is a dedicated turkey gun. Same technology as a benelli for 60% of the cost.
  2. That is a beauty of a Pintail! Made the drive up and and hunted Lake O today. Rough as heck out there. My cousin scratched this one out for the wall. Slow day. Way too rough to get out to where the birds were flying.
  3. Tim Schloss in Erie does outstanding work (he only mounts waterfowl). I’m not sure what side of NY you are on, but it is worth the ride if you are on the western half. Glad to finally see someone getting on good birds. Lake Erie has been slim pickings for divers this year. That looks like a very nice redhead.
  4. PM back. I’m interested - still looking for a set. 2nds on the radio as well.
  5. I’m interested in planer reels, if the deal falls though.
  6. Some picts from various years of ownership added.
  7. 2004 Seaswirl Striper 2601 - $29,900 Selling my boat to get something bigger that we can stay on at the marina. Boat is very economical to fish, operates flawlessly, and handles big water/conditions very well for a boat of its size. Boat has only been in fresh water and has approximately 650 hours on the motor. It's in currently in storage until April 1st. Pictures are from various years I've owned it. Chad Erie, PA 814-414-7989 (mobile) More details: General 25ft 7in long with 8ft6" beam Hard top with rocket launcher and removable front and side curtains Composite transom and stringers Volvo 5.7 liter fuel injected I/O with approximately 650 hours Duoprop wih stainless props Cable assisted hydraulic steering Trim Tabs 160 gallon fuel tank Raw water washdown with self-bailing deck. Dual axle aluminum I-beam bunk trailer with disc brakes on each axle Dry Weight 5500lbs. Boat+Trailer+Fuel+Gear = 8k to 9k. Boat can be towed with a stout 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton. 2nd owner; boat has lived its whole life in fresh water (Lake Erie) Electronics Lowrance HDS5 Sounder/GPS with Airmar B60 Through 50/200 transducer Lowrance Link 8 VHF Radio (with DSC and AIS), Flush mounted in overhead electronics box NMEA 2000 Network Fishhawk X4D, Flush mounted in overhead electronics box Clarion CD with Sirius, Flush mounted in overhead electronics box Electrical 30 Amp Shorepower Dual bank batteries with on-board charging system; charger replaced in 2016 Red LEDs under gunnel, LED spreader light, and LED navigation lights Wired plug in ports (Cannon) for 2 downriggers Fishing (4) flushmount CE Smith Rod holder (big upgrade from the junk stock rod holders) Big Jon manual planer reels with Cisco pulley mounted on hardtop (2) sets of Craig Quad rod holders (4 rods per side); these have removable bases and a care bag, and are bulletproof (2) Cannon Mag 10 STX on gimbal mounts (planning to keep these, but would throw in for a sale at full asking price). (2) in-floor fish boxes with macerator pump-outs. Wired with AC outlets for use when on shore power Small enclosed head with a plumbed porta-potty; there is no separate holding tank, but porta-potty is plumbed to the pumpout. V-Berth converts to a small dinette/table The cuddy can sleep 2; this is the biggest cuddy I could find in a trailerable fishing boat. Additional Bellows, gimbal bearing, and driveshaft replaced in 2014. Canvas was redone in 2016. All vinyl windows were replaced with upgraded material. Canvas includes a full drop curtain and a custom full cover for fishing deck. The rear cover snaps in without having to remove any rod holders or downriggers. Boat is bottom painted with VC-17; outdrive is painted with aluminum friendly antifouling paint as well. (Both to be refreshed this spring). Performance Boat cruises comfortably at 30MPH (around 3200-3500rpm) and tops out in the low 40s. Conservatively average 2.5-3 MPG on a fishing trip Trolling bags are required to get below 3MPH for trolling; boat will troll around 3MPH w/o bags Everything on boat operates flawlessly. There are a couple minor marks in the gel coat, but overall the boat looks very good. Boat is in covered storage until April 1st. Boat will be fully buffed and waxed before going in the water or to a new home.
  8. Not sure of your price range, but there is a guy at my Marina in Erie that was talking about selling his. 2001 290 Amberjack with v-drives, clean, lower hours, fresh water boat. I believe he was looking at mid 40's.
  9. I'll take the Cannon rod holders if you still have them. Sent ya a PM.
