Anyone used the new size 6 divers? Also heard dreamweaver is coming out with a side diver but can’t find any info yet. -

Set up on 80 fow and temp was at 40 down. Stayed cold right out to 200 fow before we started marking a few fish. Went out to 350 fow, caught 4 matures, 1 decent steelhead, and several 2 year olds. Dipsy with songins bam took 3 shots, NBK was good on 10 color and 200 copper, meat rig took 1, and raspberry carbon took a couple of shots.

Looks like the crossbow bill was signed by the governor. Anyone know if the width / length / etc restrictions on the crossbow itself were brought up to current standards? Couldn’t find much online.

Set up on 80 fow and temp was down 40. Around 100 fow temp dropped to 60 fow and started marking fish and bait. Every rod took fish today, a couple on meat, couple on dipsy w/ spoon and f/f, 10 color took a couple of shots, same with a 200 copper. Rigger was best with sooons, carbon 14 early then later a mupped green/ black moonshine spoon. Most matures we have taken in one day, lost s couple more. No boats within miles of us.

Set up in 80foot and marked a lot of bait and big hooks. Lost a nice one early that was cross crossing back and forth behind the boat, got a nice coho(I think) deep on a meat rig, 2 browns suspended over 100 fow, couple of small kings. All fish came on riggers, no dipsy or junk line bites. Fleas were pretty bad but the microfiber towels remove them easily, and the ankle biter flies were gone.

Can’t get the video to load for some reason -
Went 3-4 today on steelhead, 2 on spoons and 2 on flasher fly. Highlight of the trip was the bear I saw swimming across the lake in front of me. Tried to get closer but could only go so fast with the lines in the water. Sun was right in my face so I could not see if phone was centered on bear or not. Pretty cool to see!! IMG_5939.mov

I am looking to purchase a crossbow and have found 4 that offer a decocking device which sounds like a good option to me. However three of the four do not meet the NYS minimum width of 17 inches uncocked and are narrower. Anyone know how stringent they are with this?

I will check it out thank you!!

Thank you Gambler for the info, appreciate it. One other question is with the stealth core how do you attach to the lead core? Break a couple inches of wire off the tie to the sheath? Previously I would pull out a couple inches of wire from the sheath, thread the backing line into the sheath, the tie 3 overhand knots to hold it but I think the stealth core is too small for this?

Looking to upgrade my 10 color lead cores. Looking at the daiwa saltist non-line counter and wondering what size I need to buy? Would be using power pro backing. Any one know somewhere that would have the reel capacity charts for this to match up with the reel?
