  1. We tried almost everything we brought along - riggers at various depths (20-about 80 ft. w/stackers and sliders) and flatlining. Tried spoons, sticks, flies with and without flashers/dodgers... the surface temp was 34 which is seriously cold, we didn't mark much of anything. Maybe heading south from Myers would produce? I'm still a bit of a newbie so we may have be doing some things wrong but it seemed unusually slow. We're heading out of Long Point for some trolling & laker jigging on Sunday, I'll report back, good luck!
  2. I put in at myers last weekend, its open but VERY shallow, we fished the west shore from crowbar to taughannock... got skunked
  3. I have an old victrola box for pulling copper. The unit seems to work well, I have used it twice, has copper on it, quite a lot but I'm not sure of the exact length. $100 OBO
  4. Minn Kota Edge 55lb thrust bow mount, tiller control 54" shaft. Unit is in great shape, purchased at bass pro about 3 years ago... some cosmetic wear but eveything works great. $250 OBO call bill 607-844-9637
  5. Meyers and taughannock are open, heading out from Meyers tomorrow am.

  7. just a heads up... Sunday was the second weekend I've tried to launch at taughannock, bubbler was running intermittently and ice was too thick to launch. Even put on my waders and broke it up for a half hour but it went out too deep.
  8. around taughannock has been pretty good, we put in today from 3pm till dark flatlining with white laker takers between the park and camp Barton... boated 5 LL's 17"-24" depth varied from 10'-100' kept our speed 2.5-3mph
  9. put in at long point to try out the new ipilot... great morning with 8 Lakers up to just under 7 lbs. smallest laker maybe 19" had a huge goby in its belly. best fishing was 100-120 fow.
  10. You're probably already fishing but Meyers should be clear... no ice this past weekend and its been pretty warm. Good luck...
  11. We put in at Taughannock Sunday, beautiful day... 22" brown,19" LL 22" laker and about 6 TINY 6"-10" LL's. All from 25'-40' over roughly 60 fow. Things are slowly improving...
