I have mine through NY and Florida as well. With all permits that offer reciprocity with other states there are limitations so read the fine print. Florida was fairly easy to obtain and it was all done through mail and internet.
Lines down at 6:55 am. First bite was at 8:10 and every 10 minutes or so until 10:30 when it shut off like a faucet. boated 11 lakers and a nice spring king. We had 2 more kings up to the boat and several other lakers. Hot ticket for us today was Pink Alewife spoon on Dipsy. Next best thing was a green/Black spook spoon. Fishing on the edge of the stained water between 35 and 45 feet from the bay and 3 miles east. Saw several boats in shallower but didn't seem to be as busy as we were. 1.8-2.5 Mph was the ticket for us. Riggers weren't very busy 3 fish on them was all.
