  1. Most on this board have forgotten more about trolling than I know, but I was also taught similar, 20-22’~ per 100’ out. I’ve heard some say twice the sink rate of leadcore which I guess could be accurate. I always guessed the 200 was running around 40-45’ and the 300 20’ below that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. 300 is sold. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I’m selling a 200 and 300 copper on Okuma GLT rods. I haven’t used them for 2 seasons and used maybe 15-20 times total for half a season. Running long lines just isn’t for me. Reels are the upgraded high-speed Convectors, with 50lb braid backing and Atomik copper. The rods are the Okuma GLT copper rods. $140 for the 200, $150 for the 300, or $275 for both. Pickup in Rochester area only. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I launched right after you (Alumacraft) and ended up near you for some of the time. Saw you land one of the lakers. Nice job this morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. I have a Uniden Solara DSC VHF and a Garmin Fishfinder 140. These came with my boat a few years back but I never used them. Both powered up when I checked them. Free to someone that will use them. Pickup only in Rochester. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. $200 OBO. Would consider trade for walleye size linecounter setup. Thanks for looking.
  9. Still available. I’ll consider reasonable offers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Yes, still available. I bought them for muskie trolling and used them flatlined or on boards a couple of times.I suppose they could be used with divers but it doesn’t have a line counter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Putting this back up to see if anyone is interested. Thanks for looking. Added Trolling rods and 4 Storm Flatsticks.
  12. How’d you do today? Great to be out I bet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I was out of Long Point the past 4 days for a few hours at a time from a cottage near there. Went long enough to keep my kids happy but not mutiny! Bright spoons seemed to work best- mixed veggies, watermelon, purple tux, etc. Mostly targeted rainbows and salmon. 5 color with various scorpion size spoons caught every day. Riggers at 22 & 33 also good. I don’t usually target lakers way down so but did see plenty of marks low. I don’t have down temp so not sure there. Surface temp was right at 60 yesterday. I’ll be back this weekend. Hit me up anytime. Happy to trade info while out. -Jeff Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Nice job! Was also out this morning from the bay from 7-10. Started at 60’ and went out to 200’. A few marks but otherwise nothing going. Will try tomorrow again. Keep up the great reports! They’ve been helpful. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. Selling 2 like new Shimano Cardiff 400 reels. I used these twice for a trip on the St Lawrence and they've since sat unused for a couple years. Spooled with 80# Power Pro. Includes 2 Daiwa MH trolling rods, 4 Storm Flatsticks. $225 takes all. Reels alone were $129/ea from Fish USA. Local pickup in Rochester area.
  19. Selling my spring/backup reels after getting some upgrades for Christmas. I started out on these and they’ve been good to me. Spooled with new 15# Big Game. Worked fine. Pick up in Rochester area preferred or buyer pays shipping. $70 for both. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Hi Cessna, Yes, you’re correct that you can mount the swivel mount directly to the gunwale, like in my earlier picture. I have 3/4” plywood running the length on each side and they’ve worked great with no flexing or pullout. I moved the mount onto Cisco track mounted risers with the Walker adapter plate and this also works well. Hope this helps. Good luck! Jeff Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Kind of got detoured with life, kids’ end of school year and spring sports, etc but finally got the new setup on. Priority this year was moving the riggers off the back where it was difficult to get to and operate, and also adding a couple rod holders on each side. I’ll have the flexibility to add more track down the road, but already this is better and a safer way to move things around. Thanks to everyone for their ideas. After debating all the options, pricing it all out, I went with Cisco track, their pedestal track mount, and their downrigger adapter plate to use with my existing swivel mount. Rod holders are the Cannon dual axis that are a huge improvement. The clincher in finalizing the setup was having a big laker on a diver several weeks ago and my wife can’t get the rod out of the old rod holder. She says, “You need better rod holders, I can’t use this.” Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Thanks, everyone. I’ll try a couple different ways. I think hitting the snell with the pliers may have also been an issue, at least in one instance- didn’t even cross my mind until now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
