If you fish in Cross Lake, the limit is 3 fish, 18"+. The boundary is Plainville Rd. to the East, River/Jordan Rd. to the West. Put those Jigs on, bring a few for snags. Be careful of the floating logs coming at you also.

Yesterday would've been a challenge. 5 foot swells in that little channel. You would have hit the walking bridge. There is a nice small boat launch right next to the channel for the pond. It's paved on top, firm sand in the water. The pond was getting stained from yesterday's wind. Could've fished there. -

Nice work. Bevel the holes on the outside. Get foil tape and apply it to the outside. Before you put the 1st part of the transom in, fill em with thickened epoxy from the inside. Cracks need to be ground out and filled with fabric scraps. Don't grind into the existing fiberglass too far. That weakens the integrity. Just enough to get a channel to fill.

They put it in last fall. It is just 5 foot past the pay shack. It was covered until April 1st. I was told to pay or leave. The empire pass looks better for $65. The park has the best launch around. Always was memorial day, unless you were camping. State should fix the holes in the road to get in there instead of funneling the $ to the city. -
I use raka epoxy from Florida. The thin 127 for wetting out, and wood wicking. The 900 medium viscosity for second coats. It's good stuff, get lots of acetone for cleaning stuff and a box of disposable gloves. I've got the epoxy, the rollers you'll need. Looks like the weather will be good next week when we get past Monday night.

He is a farm dog. His other duties are killing rats and grey squirrels around our grain bins. He has a strong dislike for rodents. His focus is usually on them. Brings back a coon, possum, or woodchuck now and then. Nice mix, can't distract him from his chore, figured out what tree the squirrels like, cuts em off across the lawn, bam. Very smart & motivated, would make an excellent tracking dog Nauti.

At least 2 coats on it. More on the cut edge as it wicks it in. Just watch it, have a beer or 2, and re coat the sawn edge. If you get air bubbles in any of the epoxy, run a torch over the surface quickly, they will float out and disappear. You have 12 to 16 hours to work with epoxy for a chemical bond. After that amount time, you need to sand for a mechanical bond. 2 coats on the faces, 4 or 5 on the cut edges.
