Did a solo hunt today on some public! I did alot better than the past 2 days. Going back in the morning!! Just looked in my photos and no pic lol. What the heck. 2 hooded , 2 goldeneye's, old squaw, Buffy.

Yesterday morning did not go as planned . Got down to the spot , all set up and only had 1 flock come in and land outside the decoys. Only got 1. 30 minutes later we were picking up and going to do deer drives. Lol
Today we went to the farm pond but couldn't stay long enough for the birds to come back we left at 9 with 2 mallards . Had couple flocks fly by when we were picking up . That's how it goes sometimes.

Sat from 1 to dark , just a flash of a deer is all I seen. Seems most movement in my woods happened from oct 27th to nov 6th. Hope things change soon running out of time and that's all I have now .

I did a solo goose hunt at the blind . Got there at 10:45 and about 11:10 had a flock of 400 come in . I let them land cuz I was in aww. I spooked them and just picked out the back birds . All the birds in that flock were huge in size . Amazing what the 5 decoys have been doing !!!

Hunted the blind this morning had a 4 pack come in and the morning is over just like that. Fast hunts now smh..... Just a couple ducks but they had no interest ....

Just had a crippled 8 go by .... I saw him yesterday and he was fine. I grunted at him and he was on edge, so long as the dogs don't get him I hope he makes it . Past couple days no chasing just casual looking.

Me and a buddy went down to the blind at 11 for a mid morning goose shoot. Solo and a pair , then a flock. my buddy shot his last bird. Not much to that! Glad 5 decoys is all we needed to put out.

Got the day off work and decided with the wind the turkeys will be sitting in the oak bowl staying out of the wind. What do u know, i walked up the hill looked down and 60 yards out he stood. Took the shot had he folded up. Then 20 yards away the whole flock flys up . I probably would have had a closer shot if I just walked up a couple more feet.

Had some hot action yesterday 2 borderline bucks chasing a doe. I have been having the same batchlor group come in every day like clock work. They are not together anymore but 5 to 10 min apart coming to the oaks , and they are getting bigger. Lol I have been hunting the oaks hard just moving with the wind to whatever side fits. Hopefully they do the same thing tonight.

Nice shoot RB!! Went to the lease to hunt the blind today, man how comfortable can u get . Im so glad we build that!!!! Ok morning for what was coming to the pond. Only if geese were open could've got limits easy.
