Got my son on a good bird today.👍

Made our trip up to the North Country Jefferson County and had a wonderful youth turkey. lots of gobbles,smiles and memories. Trigger pulled bird down for my son Hunter today. 35yds Remington 11-48 16gauge Mod barrel #4 shot 🇺🇲

Left launch out of Sandy 9am with my two sons pulled rods at noon. Pump house to cowsucker creek 12 to 18 fow was best for us today 15 for 17 dropped a King in 12fow mix of hits on boards and #1 chinook divers divers out 20-22 Boards 100' back. Thanks feels good fishing the home waters. Talking with the crew on board we said the same thing probably 1st King of the year. Definitely was a surprise for my son seeing the line counter out to 550ft lol. I've been blessed with very good outings so far

Left out of Hamlin Sandy Creek my home turf water. Set down the 196 fishmaster in 12fow at Newman's point and Bingo Bango it was off to the Kongo! We were greeted by a King first fish of the day my son landed on 15lb tackle. After that it was off to the races with Browns and 1 coho. 8 rod spread 6 inline boards 2 divers PB day 55 for 60 Pics below of my best color's Baits used were Zach Baker custom painted on a UPM680 blank Bayrats and Stinger spoons.
