  1. After battling rough weather in the youth season and battling rough conditions again this weekend my youngest boy was able to seal the deal on his very first turkey at 22yds this morning up in Jefferson county. Awesome proud father/son day memories we both will never forget.๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ
  2. Made my way back up to the north country for a successful public land tag out this morning in Jefferson County. After a couple of moves relocating birds off the roost it all came together watching a group of Toms working my soft yelps as they slipped through the thick swamp into gun range at 20yds. What made this hunt even more special to me was using my Grandfather's Ithaca 12 gauge featherlight he won for a Quarter $.25 at the Brockport carnival back in 1957 ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ
  3. Took the drive up north yesterday Jefferson County was able to put some to bed. Ended up working a flock in off the roost this morning 4 hens 2 Toms and was able to seal the deal down the gun barrel at 25yds๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ
  4. Started experimenting last year with these baits on Lake Ontario and the Finger Lakes and also trying Erie for the first time last year late summer early fall and had great success. So hopefully this season see what color's in different conditions work as well. It's pretty simple the blanks can be had online for dirt cheap and a good friend of mine who pants musky lures Zach Baker adds the perfection with the painting work. Hope this helps everyone and interesting to post my progress with these baits this season on Erie.
  5. Just picked up the Spring 2025 collection of baits (UPM 680 Blanks) painted up by Zach Baker looking forward to a great 2nd season on Erie.
  6. Had to work unfortunately but I wouldn't be surprised if you struck silver between the mouth and cowsucker. Go get um! And good luck
  7. South shore is alive and well quality healthy fish so far.
  8. Nice job! For sure the 4th picture is a beautiful Atlantic. Congrats on a great day!
  9. Left the mouth straight out and set up in 10 fow and pointed the Starcraft West towards Devils Nose. Passing Newmans Point we picked up our 3 man limit. Turned the boat around to the East right around Area 1 at the park and went with the waves down to cowsucker creek. 28 for 35 was the final score today always fun having first time coworker's fishing today and always greatful fishing the home waters. Good class of Browns today and 1 quality laker smashing a chinook diver. Best color's below and again Stud of the day Tricky Ricky (UPM 600) painted up by Zach Baker. 4 inline boards 2 chinook divers and 2 riggers was the program today 13 to 18 fow was best IMG_5155_1_1.mp4
  10. Water was clearer then we expected keeping our speed up in those situations and dropping our lines back 120' off the boards seemed to help.
  11. Got a late start slept through my alarm oops! Left the launch 8am scratched out a 3 man limit by 10am pulled rods at 11:30am steady mix of coho's and Browns 10 for 18 nothing huge but a good first trip of the season. Starcraft Fishmaster worked great as always best color's below. Zach Baker's customs stole the show and my favorite "Tricky Ricky " was a Stud today. Our program was 4 inline boards 2 divers 2 riggers 10 to 17 fow it all worked. Good luck to everyone tight lines and make some more memories ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ
  12. Freedom taclke cutbait 5" behind a 8" spin doctor or 8" protroll did very well for me off a dipsy or 15' behind the ball rig it with a leader about same length as a meat rig. Stumbled upon this when a meat head broke off in the net and tied up a freedom taclke 5" cutbait worked great
  13. Nice loooking quality fish! Pump house to cowsucker cant go wrong ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‘ colors names i will take a go at this top to bottom because I'm a color nerd lol Green knight, Lemon/Lime Orange Belly,Glow frog,My secret,BT candy and Ayu
  14. Can't fix Stupid
  15. Addya Hooks and spro split rings ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ most of the new spoons made come with junk Hooks and split rings
  16. Well take a look into it if you have free time. I thought the same thinking it would be more expensive and have also been waiting for bayrats. So last season I teamed up with Zach Baker and experimented with some blanks and have been having alot of success for less than half the cost of a factory bait.
  17. Your welcome! load the box up for cheap have fun with it make your own patterns designs just be sure to keep plenty of "Tricky Ricky's " on the ready LOL
  18. There is many blanks to be had online 3" to 5" (they all work very well)shapes and sizes shallow deep suspending etc... the closest I've found to a bayrat S3 was from Dynamic Lures. Step #2 contact Zach Baker to do his magic with the painting. Affordable fun project to create your own colors/patterns. Hope this helps put a few more Browns and Spring Kings in the boat๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ

  20. Looks like a sweet rig! Versatility of the small boats are great. I've been to Thousand Islands, Erie,Ontario,Canadaguia,Conesus and entering my 1st Musky Tourney this weekend at Waneta with my 196 fishmaster. Again boat looks awesome looking forward to more in depth rigging and fishing videos ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ
  21. After 2 yrs of trolling around Conesus we finally landed our 1st Tiger on Saturday am. On the north end 30 fow 120' behind the OR 12 board with a black chrome deep bandit. Mixed in some nice small mouth and pike. Was a good day on the small pond๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ
  22. Rick you better park that big boat soon and come play in Erie... 4 man limit today and a bonus bow. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ
