I believe on my gps it was 3 Miles to get to 240 range and I personally like south , south west or north west wind I’ve never had any problems just your typical easterly winds seem to be slower days ... a lot of boats are fishing 400 feet of water I personally haven’t pinged many fish and had no luck that far out been doing very well in the low to mid 200 ‘s this week Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

Out of Olcott from 5:30am-9:30am landed 5 nice steelhead and 3 Kings weighing between 14-18 pounds sweet spot of 240 FOW was colder than surrounding areas with surface temp of 59.5 degrees Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

If you do take fish out of the water when returning them back to the water I’ll set them back in and hold the back tail and swish them back and forth till they take off under there own power always seems to work Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
