  8. I use amsteel blue it's a marine rope 7/64 of a inch maybe a little overboard but pulling my otterboards with double keels it's been great its rated for 1400lbs line is thin enough works great for me Sent from my SM-A102U using Lake Ontario United mobile app

I also had the newer otter boards last year they pulled okay but with dipsy's on them they pulled far back I went to Caledonia to a machine shop and had them make me those keels and yes the keels do not have a weight they're essentially just the same height width length. They pull a lot better now with dipsy's on and they still float, if you get a second keel just be careful how much weight because it could sink the otter boat when it's still Sent from my SM-A102U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
