    Changes The 2018 King of the Oak events will be held on Saturdays only in 2018. This gives us blow off dates (Sundays) in the event of bad weather. We are also moving the Friday event at the Orleans County Open to the Saturday of the Orleans County Open. These changes are to help increase the pool of teams fishing for the KOTO cup. We increased the series to 5 events. Your best 4 scores go towards the KOTO cup. This change was requested becasue some guys aren't up at the Oak in June. This should also make the run at the cup more interesting in the end. Dates June 9th July 21st August 18th August 25th September 8th

    To the people who were turned away......stay tuned! We are planning on increasing this class to 170 students. This years class was the fastest to sell out, and soon it will be the largest Salmon School ever held. I'm excited! Don't get me wrong......I'd like to see it go to 200, but logistics are keeping us to 170. If you want in on the last 19 spots stay tuned to the LOTSA webpage and Facebook Page. You can also follow my Facebook page as well (Richard Hajecki). If we aren't already friends send me a request. Also, in the works is another seminar coming to the area. Captain Dan Keeting is planning on a seminar in Rochester during late February. He is bringing another captain, Captain Arnie Arredondo, and has asked me to participate as well. I will have more details on this in the coming weeks.
