I'm well aware of the various dipsey wires, my question is: what is the composition of weighted steel that makes it different.
-
How does weighted steel differ from regular 7 strand dipsey wire or Torpedo 19 strand steel? What makes it up?

Anybody have a pair of electric planer reels they are looking to sell?

Being stuck at home because of family reasons I decided to do the experiment. For now all my Luhr-Jensen flasher/dodgers are being cleaned in the dish washer and next will be the spoons.
Did anybody do this and what were the results, specially with the stick-on eyes and/or glue on strips?
Thank you for your opinions and shared experiences.

I suggest Samson Marine in Red Creek. I have had them do structural and cosmetic repair on three boats.

I went with this.

or 250#
Do you think that 200# is marginal, or just that 250# is another option?

Time to replace my planer board line and I'm wondering what brand/type is working the best recently?

Has anyone had any success in running a bare flasher or dodger on an unused rigger. At times, I have an unused rigger because our rod limit is used up on other lines. I'm thinking of running an attractor off the ball of the spare rigger. Anyone had any success with this?

Looking to take my boat to Olcott or Wilson. Any one have any recommendations for a Transient Dock at Olcott 6,7 May. Is this even a possibility.
Thanks,
Eric

Check Wilson Tuscarora State Park. They have overnight and transient dockage and a boat ramp.

If not we can lift it off the trailer with our travel lift and get you in the water. That is if you have a slip you're headed to.
Thanks Rich, I'm considering that option. I have enough water (barely) at my dock in P'Ville. Going to wait a little to see if things improve.

Is there plenty of water and ramp length at the Genny launch to launch a 27' Amberjack on a triple axle trailer?

maybe at Krenzer Marine in Sodus
Yep, I'm talking to them. Thanks

Thanks, I'm considering that option. I've been able to launch it myself for the last ten years, but low water and some launch area fill in are issues.
Thanks again.

I'd like to launch my 27" Amberjack on a triple axle trailer somewhere in the Pultneyville/Sodus area next week. As of now I don't see any possibilities. Any Ideas?

Look like Andy Reekers to me. Blue and silver one has taken some large browns for me.

Haven't heard much of fish staging in front of the river.

Just to point out something. The "depth" of the ball on your sonar is showing the distance from the transducer to the ball, not the depth of the ball below the surface.

There is no public launch in P’Ville. Closest would be Hughes Marina but I haven’t heard if they are operating yet.
