There are some on Ebay I thought I would start here first. You can PM me or on the board with model and price. Paypal available. Thanks Stan
  3. The big fat ones are always eating. It takes a hell of a fisherman to catch a picky eater.

  7. Did you use it on the fingerlakes? If so if it was accurate I will take it. Cayuga ,Seneca especially..
  8. Thank you for being a great great dad.
  9. Anyone had any luck getting a dock reserved at Seneca lake state park? Ive called many times over the last month only to be put on hold or told they will call me back. Getting close to memorial weekend and no dock reserved. No call back..... Maybe they are free this year.
  10. Dident it have scales on its back? Nice fish.....
  11. Sorry motor has been sold should have deleted post.....
  12. A few posts back I posted a Little Item that caught the 1st place LT in the NLT a several years back. Not the overall winner but still a $2500 fish.1st time I ever posted it . Not the same thing I won on . But still a nice check. It goes against modern technology.Last year had a tore up knee and could hardly get in the boat..Only one derby fish. This year 100% go. What I have working now is something I stumbled on.Same colors ,same depths, all lakes, year after year. Still goes against modern technology..... BTW I would not be surprised to see a Atlantic up there. I had a hold of a few good ones last year . They find all your weak spots when they jump.
  13. After seeing fisherdudes outstanding trout pictures I realize how far behind I am getting things ready this year.Weatherman says Its supposed to snow this weekend .No fishing. After next weekend its 22 days till NLT.and 15days days till Barney derby. That leaves one weekend for a shakedown cruse. I think to be fair Fisherdude should tie one hand behind his back.
  14. Ott Oh, you found those big headed, colorful, and heavy suspended lakers.
  15. Rumor has it, Its going to be directed and produced by Steven Spielberg. My question is . ... Is there going to be a wookie?
  16. I hope Skateopedia doesn't put his book online. We do not need people reading their phones and driving their boat.. {Now showing my age]
  17. Try the smallest silver suttons they make trolled on top. Slowly. Its amazing what those little trebles will hold.
  18. There are 40 of them. Now that I see the pictures, they are much nicer than they look in the pictures . I can not get a good picture.... Even the new ones in the package look bad but they are brand new...
  19. Some dimple lights, vampires,Candy corn, die hard ,Frogs.some with a few teeth marks. Most 28's a few mags .Overall in great shape. Very speed tolerant and Hard to find these colors. $160 shipped (less than I paid when new) Paypal accepted.
  20. Hmmmm. brass and copper. I would try and make another before I lost it.
  21. The suspended lakers seem to be almost a different specie than the ones on the bottom. Their heads are larger they seem to be longer , more colorful and less slimey. You can catch them at faster speeds. Our fish gauge is if they take drag. I run nothing less than 30lb test. If they do not take drag then its get them in the boat and get the lure back down there.I also grab a few decent atlantics and bows in the mix.Occasional brown. I hope someone else has noticed this and I don't look like a idiot.......
  22. This does not really answer your question .But I have found when out over deep water and you are not marking anything. If a rod goes off it usually a real decent fish. Yes you can do well raking the bottom for quantity. But for me anyway I spend a lot of time chasing suspended fish.Derby fish.
  23. I have a Garmin 73dv that came programed w/17000 lakes. Problem is in the fingerlakes it is way off on location and it does not show bottom structure I know is there. {Cayuga Lake} I see they have joined forces with navonics and are supposed to be more accurate. I have not seen any feedback yet. Around $150 for a new chip. I also have a Furuno GP1870df w/antenna that I could use as a stand alone GPS . I am not familar with the Cmap chip. How accurate are they in the fingerlakes? Around $260 for the chip. Anyone running a 1870 with a new chip? Anyone had experience with either of these? I fish Cayuga and Seneca most of the time. I like to scoot along the dropoffs
  24. Someone got a great buy.
