    Every year I say I want to go after them. Never make it.I caught a little one surf fishing . Fought like hell.Those big ones must be a blast . Thanks for the pictures.

    I run two dipseys on each side. I run a 10ft rod on the outside. It helps get your line out away from the inside rod when letting your dipsey out.

    Flat lake ,slight breeze. Fished deep 120FOW and down. Crazy hungry big laker bite. No lampreys. Probably caught my biggest laker today. I never lifted it out of the water ,slipped out the hook and let it go.

    Fished memorial day 6 am till 10;30 . No hits . Hard to believe we could not catch a 10lb laker or any laker. Congrats to winners.

    Not to brag but caught 3 fish today, last I checked I had 1st place seniors with a 7.8 laker. After fishing Cayuga its a tough bite,but did not have to clean any blood out of the boat...

    Great fish and a nice report. A lot of real quality fish have been caught recently. If bear had his derby a 12lber probably would not make it. Thanks.

    The black magic optimiser in the picture above is deadly.I have a few copper and orange, deadly for browns even in the fingerlakes.I most always had the half black and half purple down.They work even down to 2MPH. I knew a guy at Hughes that ran the blue and white optimiser year around,, I know of one 20+lb rainbow caught on the baby shower optimiser.1st place LOC.Very rugged spoon . I probably have 30 or so been thinking about putting them up for sale. I cant decide. I did not check but last time I looked them up it was a site called Tamiron it might still be there.

    Ive been looking for four. Just for the heck of it today I checked the Big Jon website . They were on sale $19.95 ea.Normally $59.95 . I bought 5.

    Super great kid and fish pictures thanks for posting them. Where can a guy get one of those lip grip tools? Here is one we caught Sat. This one came 165 down . Off a rigger.

Thanks to all the organizers.Im sure there is more work behind the scenes than people realize. . Now days most use their cell phones and the radio is silent. Channel 68 is generally the preferred channel. Fish size reports now and then are useful. Three twirls to the left then a curtsy cancels a Maloch.

    What about" finish the book"? I change the bilge pump yearly. I ordered new rubber baskets for my nets. Came made in China from a American company.. Half the size and thickness of the old ones. I called them and told them they should not be selling that junk,the guy said they have a 30 day return policy. Ive been debating putting the old baskets back on.
