  2. I'm not sure. I have about an inch and a half. Just give em a call, they were very helpful. http://www.tandlproducts.com/index.html RR
  3. You realize Split even with the different rules, if applied to last year I still would have won. lol What do I owe you for the plaques? RR
  4. You definately want to be out of Mexico or SR. RR
  5. Just a quick review as I mounted them last night. When I first got them, I put them together on the boat and was stupified if they would work. After mounting the 2x8 and the riggers I was astounded by the sturdiness! I cranked on it as hard as I could to get it to move or roll. It did not budge 1 mm. So if you guys are looking to mount a rigger board with out drilling the top of the transom, eagles feet are the shiznitz! 2 thumbs up! Comes right off easily by unscrewing the 4 thumb screws too. Well worth the 80 bucks. RR
  6. Hot smoke em with no brine and then mix like tunafish, mayo, onion, pickle relish. Good on crackers. But yes filet the nasty stuff out. The 20 to 24 inchers are the best. The big ones are a little strong for me. RR
  7. Lawrance X 48 fishfinder with transducer and mount. 50 bucks plus shipping. PM me RR
  8. Uniden president VHF radio in good working order. Mount included 50 bucks plus shipping. PM me RR
  9. Yep Clarke. Been going thru the boat and it actually seems to be set up for fishing better than the other one. Seat placement, canvas, power steering, live well so big that it will hold 6 kings and 3 bags of ice. Tracy likes it better. I think the other one was set up more for performance and water skiing. This one is set up for fishing. I am very happy so far. Should have it in the lift next weekend ready to rock. RR
  10. Jeff, Great job fixen her up! I ran that boat for 6 years and it caught a ton of fish. Great boat for the money. Jeff did you look at dry docking it up there? Good luck. RR
  11. I'm still working on the SUV! But that should be fixed by sat. I am amazed that I found an Islander locally in as good as shape as the one that got toasted. RR
  12. Here she is! Should be back in business by next weekend. RR
  13. Try the eagle feet. I am rigging my boat up with a set this weekend. No drilling and can remove the board easily. 80 bucks shipped. The guy I bought my new boat from used them and he said they worked great. http://www.tandlproducts.com/products.html#ef RR
  14. I wouldn't go south. Launch at myers and work north. The weeds havent started growing yet but the temp is perfect and fish are everywhere from the shoreline out to 30 ft. You should hammer um, Doubt you will fish much, you will be too busy with the boy! lol RR
  15. Just a heads up: These guys have been absolutly fantastic. My check will arrive tomorrow and all I have to do is give them the new VIN# and I'm all set with the new boat insurance. Customer service was fantastic. RR
  16. The perch, sunnies and big gills are hitting good in 5 to 15 FOW all along the east shore, Worms with a small jig head fished with a float are working good. You might get an occasional big smallie too. Non stop action. I fished off the dock last evening and caught fish every cast. RR
  17. Or lead lenghts Jeff. RR
  18. If I am over fish, I will change every 20 min if not getting bit. If I'm not marking much anything i let it ride till i run into the fish. RR
  19. Thanks for everyones kind words. RR
  20. Yup that was me! You total a boat by having it fish tail at 65 mph out of control and have the SUV do a 180, thereby launching the boat off the trailer onto the pavement. Thats how. I don't want to get into what happend as my Father was driving and he feels bad enough. Lucky no other cars were involved and we didn't hit anything. Tore up the rear suspension of my SUV to the tune of 3 grand too. Everything was insured, So no problem. We are alive, uninjured and ready to rig up the new boat. RR
  21. Yep me too. But on cayuga using small spoons, I'll just use a small snap. I don't seem to get line twist but if I ran a big spoon, the line twists up pretty good with out a swivel. RR
  22. Bought another islander last night. 1999 300 hours. The one I totaled was the upgraded version but this boat is in excellent condition as well. Pick it up next week and get to rigging so I can be ready to defend my LOU Cayuga title. RR
  23. found it finally, anyone use these?
  24. can anyone supply a link for those clamps so i don't have to drill the top of my transom? I see them mentiond but can't seem to find them on the net. Thanks RR
