  1. So far I'm good either. Split, can you order up the placks form the same guy? If you can, let me know the cost and I'll spring for em. Lunker pool sounds good too. Hopefully the new ride will catch fish like old one so you guys won't have to worry about finding a spot for the trophy. RR
  2. Chaos if Seasquirrel doesn't want it, my neighbor prolly will. RR
  3. Oh Chaos! I just bought a 4000 lb lift and had to go all the way to Chamot to take it apart and rent a flat bed to haul it down! Ifn I only knew. Good luck with your endevors and if you ever want to fish the LOU Cayuga, you are welcome on my boat anytime. I'll even let ya hold the trophy! RR
  4. Well every time I had it there for the winter, I was having work done so they just added it to the bill when the work was done in the spring. I store my boat just down the road now at Powers, just because its very convienient. Having my work done there too now as I just have to drive it over and don't have to trailer it. They also put it in in the spring for me so I don't have to trailer it to long point and then go back to retrieve the trailer. Neil and Kevin do excellent work too. They bill me for storage in Jan. RR
  5. I never realized this was a dating site! where is the pink hat?
  6. Yea he won't bill you for storage until the repairs are done. Thats what he did for me anyway. RR
  7. Erbyjoe, Look at the Honda Pilots too. I bought one this summer, loaded with the towing package, for 30K. 255 HP and will tow up to 5500 lbs. Towed my boat with it this year and it was better than my GMC PU with the V-8 in it. we liked it better than the highlander. RR
  8. I'm sure he's got it tarped up. I used to store my boat there, always excellent. They won't start any work however, till the weather breaks in the spring. He gets so busy winterizing and storing, they don't have time to do much else. RR
  9. thanks for the advice Bob!
  10. Yep, prolly the same boat. RR
  11. Ya it looks brand new. Virgin transom, never been fished! 74 hours THANKS ALOT STIX!!!!!!! I have finally fallen victim! Funny! RR
  12. 4.3 V6 200 hp. Alpha 1. She's mint! See you guys at the bar! RR
  13. Not much going on. There was a small run of fish after the rain on fri. They are pretty much gone now as the creeks are low and clear again. Need another good rain event to jump start it. IMHO its not woth the trip if you have to travel. RR
  14. Hear ya go. Fish at the plant and north of the plant in 100 fow. 60 down and run sliders. Black and purple, green, etc spoons. The fishing is excellent. 2 very big bows have come there in the last 2 days. Lots of lakers too. The lake is fishable until about noon. The wind comes up after it warms up. It's been flat calm in the mornings and evenings. Right now its whippin but fishable. You would prolly be better off launching at myers. The fishing has been very good for me this year, I don't know what you guys are talking about, right TM? Good luck RR
  15. Yep but this rock star life is eatin in to my fishin time.
  16. Which park would that be? There are 3 of em. I'll have some info for ya later over the weekend. RR
  17. Cayuga can get pretty slow at this time of the year. The LL, lakers and browns are gearing for the spawn. But it was pretty decent this weekend according to my neighbor. He took a lot of fish including an 8lb bow. Fishing black and purple spoons down 60 over 100. RR
  18. YT, Yep its the private owner issue for pricing as far as my CU and bank are concerned. I'm getting a great rate but just can't get people to realize that their boats aren't worth what they are asking. When I go to get rid of mine I'll be basically giving it away. The trailer will be worth more than my asking price for the whole boat! AND you won't have to go to the bank for a loan! lol Just have to keep on looking. But I do have weight issues for my lift, I can't go over 4000 lbs unless I want to shell out another 6 grand for a new lift! So that kind of limits me to 22 to 24 ft aluminum. (Which is what I want anyway) RR
  19. I am looking too and I have found that my bank will only fund 80 - 85% the book price unless its rigged. Something to keep in mind. I put offers on 2 and lost out because I can only go so far over book. But then again I don't want to pay 3 to 5 grand over book either, which is what I'm running into. I don't want to take a bath if I decide I don't like the boat cause I'm only going to get book price or less when I sell it. I put an offer on a 21 ft sportcraft 1988, books for 3200, I offered 4300 causes it had 2 mag 10's and a good trailer. The guys said 6500! I said no thanks. So thats what I'm running into. I may just put a new floor and new canvas on mine and run it 1 more year. RR
  20. Bill you can always meet me in town for some fall action in the creeks. I do well when the water is right. RR
  21. Its been a little tough for the last week or 2 according to my neighbor. I haven't been out cause I was fishing sea run Atlantic Salmon in New Brunswick for the last 10 days. I was thinking about going out sat morning but I have a feeling there is going to be some strong NW winds and I have a gig sat too.
  22. I would think you would burn 10 to 15 gal more or less depending on how far you run. But in that light I never go out without a full tank (36 gal). You never know what might happen on the big pond. Its a safety issue for me. Just fill it and then put gas stabilizer in the tank when you put it up. Thats what I do and never have any problems in the spring. RR
  23. pic from yestyerday. both those guys are 6ft 4 in. 4 of the many.
