  1. 6' is good. Nothing longer then the length of the rod.
  2. Wow!!!!! You guys are awesome! Thank you for all the Birthday wishes!

  3. Speed duplication is huge and can vary tremendously depending on trolling direction (east and west) following the shoreline. 1/8 to 1/4 mph can make all the diffence. Water color and temp are also things to pay attention to. Watwer may be to clean or too dirty. Or you may find a warm pocket of water which may be a degree diferent or 4 degrees different then everything else. As you catch fish make a mental note on the bait, depth of water, speed, and location in the spread the fish came from and slowly build your spread on what the fish are telling you.
  4. Not so much inside of 10 fow but for sure in deeper water (12-25'). You will be able to cover the water column better

  7. Easter Sunday @ Sandy Exceptional fishing continues... crazy numbers. Doubles along with an occasional triple. Mixed bag. Browns, Cohos, Steel, and Lakers all hit the deck this afternoon. DW ss spoons and stickbaits in goby patterns all taking fish.
  8. experience copper's learning curve with 45# copper first. 300' and 400' were my best rigs last year
  9. Agreed. I would look into that a bit more.

  12. Sandy Creek 4.19 Crazy bite this morning. Crazy numbers. Lots of Browns and a bunch of Cohos kept us busy this morning. Lots of 42-44.6 degree inside of 15 fow. DW ss spoons took our bigger fish today. The riggers took a few shots but most of the big ones off the slide divers. Goby patterned sticks off the big boards were hard to resist for the cookie cutters.
  13. The same place you posted this question
  14. Clarions still exist but they now only have 2 models 453 and 553. http://www.okumafishing.com/product/view/reels/star-drag-reels/clarion Both models are non line counter reel and make for great copper reels. The Coldwater series took over where Clarion left off and have replaced Clarion linecounter reels. http://www.okumafishing.com/product/view/reels/linecounters/cold-water
  15. Okuma Clarion 55 is my top choice but an Okuma Convector 55 will do the job also
  16. Great reels. No upgrades needed. Sent from my C771 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
