  1. I should have just spent the 10k to replace the stringers, transom and bulkhead. Cheaper that starting over.
  2. All good, your sale.
  3. And nice 1999 trailer included BTW.
  4. Sir, I assume that you have the best intentions at heart. I am looking for a boat this size, but no one wants surprises. I think we all just want the same thing: An honest and fair deal, full disclosure, and no nasty surprises. I sold my 1999 PY 265, 350 Bravo III, ran great, completely loaded. Furuno radar, Furono Sonar/GPS x 2, Simrad AP14 Autopilot, Scotty electrics, planer reels, Fishhawk X4D, and Subtroll, Yami 9.9 4 stroke kicker, Furuno radar, etc.. I honestly thought the stringers, transom etc., were solid. As it turned out they were rotten. Sold for 8K. As much as it hurt my wallet on the sale, I can sleep at night knowing nobody got hurt on the deal, except maybe me. I sleep well. More details are needed if you have them. Year, engine hours, professional survey to back up stringers and motors being good. I don't think you will find a qualified buyer who won't want to know these things. And as for stringers and moisture, only a good survey tells that story. Just my 2 cents.
  5. Ok, thanks, and tight lines
  6. Do they have 110 hook up as well for home hook up, or just 12 volt ?
  7. Would you take $100 for the Alpenas only ?
  8. This is a turnkey, towable fishing machine - Jon is a solid guy, and this boat is mint ! Won't last long.

for sale : usa 26 ft Penn Yan For Sale

I sold my 1999 Penn Yan Pro Hunter last fall for the same reason. They are great boats, a tank in rough seas. Unfortunately for me, I found out my transom, stringers and bulkhead were rotten when the buyer had a survey done. Ended up selling for half what I figured was fair if they were good. Just fair warning, regardless of age, wood can rot. Get a survey. Otherwise, they are amazing boats for the money. Good luck with your sale and tight lines.
  10. Very gracious of you, and many thanks !

  12. Ill take them. Need you PayPal info. Thank You.
  13. Any paper thin flutter spoons size 44 or 31. The knock-offs aren't as "tunable", so looking for Suttons, the old Quick Strike, Luhr Jenson, Pine Valley, etc., 44 or 31 size to be stripped and re-painted. Not looking for new stuff, just what you might have that is at "that" point. Thanks in advance, and tight lines to all.
  14. Just wondering what the availability is for diesel on the water out of Little SalmonRiver or Oswego. Also, anybody have any experience with diesel powered salmon boats ? I have diesel truck, no stink from the exhaust, but not looking to choke on it all day on the water. Thanks !
  15. And a Jointed Believer or Swim Whiz. They are close to identical musky bait.

  21. Looking for a pair of Penn 345/340s Anybody have a couple of either size in good working condition that they want to get rid of ? If so, let me know what you need to get for them shipped to Binghamton area. Thanks, and tight lines !
