Depth Raider!

Did some real nice perch in front of habiscus marina in 7-10 feet of water. Chartruese jig with fathead worked better than any other color. If you go to that area, you want to be right in line with the white bouys. I started just South of the port in front of the green Lund in the lift (it is always there) and drifted just north of the port. We were looking for crappies and found good perch. 10-12"+

The name is The Bait Barn. I am not sure about shiners but he has fatheads. I think I saw shiners there before. The guy is a bit messed up from I believe Vietnam. I try to give him all the business I can. Hope this helps

I know you are on a budget, who isnt? I have a Lowrance 136 DF and it aint cutting it either. I am searching for a Furuno 582 right now. I wish I could have taken everyones advice when I was told to get the best electronics I could afford. But other bills came first. I fished with a buddy who had a Furuno 582 and ever since wanted to throw mine overboard. Might be worth the wait until you can afford more. I would be $500.00 bucks ahead.

Marion Manor is your best bet. Puts you right in at Fish Creek which can be good for the 'eyes. It used to be a 10 dollar fee to launch. It was never a great launch. A bit tight but it works. There used to be a free dirt launch under the bridge right there also. Used to go there all the times to fish fish creek. Good luck!

That rivet is a pain in the butt to drill out. I replaced my swivels as Billy V did. I used the scottys brand. Those are beefy!
