Eli, Thank you for the reply, and please don't think I mean't anything by my question in regards to your gear. I have a pole set up and I believe it will work but I wanted something to wind the line on but I guess for now I can wind it on a spool when I'm done with it. I have in-lines but thought they would be more of a hassle than running the board and just sliding the releases down the line. Thanks again for the info, much appreciated! Steve

Reason I bring this up is I know a shop that wants to get this and opens very early to accommodate fishers but has to turn them down and send them off to another store that might "open" on time, sometimes hours later. If I was running this tourney I would want every bait store/tackle shop to sell the license not a select few. I will email Mr. Chilson and see if he can clarify the process that is used to determine who sells these and who cannot. Thanks again to all. Steve

Just a FYI for everyone. I was informed that the launch in Oswego is blocked with the boat docks so no one can use it. Anyone have a number for the controlling agency so I can try and get this fixed. Thank you in advance for any and all info. Steve

LOU members, I have a question regarding how the LOC decides who gets the opportunity to sell the "license" to fish in the challenge? It appears that there might be something not right or fair going on with this. I talked to a bait shop and their not going to be allowed to sell the license for the LOC and cannot get a straight answer on why. It cannot be that only one shop per area can sell them because there are areas that have multiple locations. Is it possible that one store could be treated favorably over another? That wouldn't seem fair, especially for something as big as this and how much public participation takes place. I appreciate any help with this. Tight Lines, Steve

Time out, you might be able to launch after me. I'll bring a shovel, pick ax and the plow on my truck if you think I can get through. I'll look at the weather predictions for this weekend and see what I can come up with, just want to get out on the big lake for a few Browns and such. Desperate time means creative solutions. Steve
