first things first, please don't take this the wrong way, but as a sportsman you should know this. if i am wrong someone please chime in, i like to think i am up to date on these laws though.
Emeralds from the upper river are not allowed to be transported to the lower river for the fear of VHS virus. can be ticketed for a 250$ fine. if buying bait make sure they are certified or if a DEC officer ask for receipt of proof and do not have, Ticket. don't think for one minute they are never down there in the lower, seen them 9 times during salmon season this year.
Point 2, due to high winds and rain this week the river is mud as of this writing. 1ft of viz at most. when it clears it will be game on.
Good luck if you go and enjoy the day
i see there is new interest on this so just my 2 cents for knowledge purpose. If the i pilot head came off a powerdrive V2 it will not work on anything else but a V2. also the older Terrova w/o i pilot have a DIFFERENT head unit. so the v2 and the terrova heads are not interchangable. Past experience that came from Minn Kota's rep mouth and from installing them myself for others
umm pretty sure for a Ipilot Terrova or even a Power drive v2 you have to go to a 80lbs thrust to do a 24v system, 54 in shaft to short in most situations should look for a 60inch, Just from my experience, good luck
