    Here is a picture of the final board for Bear’s 2020 summer tournament. Had a total of 147 participants on what turned out to be a very tough fishing weekend due to an algae bloom.     I don’t post every fish I catch, but this one is a beauty. Went out Monday evening between the storms and caught this beautiful 28 1/2 inch rainbow. Don’t know the weight and I am curious as to what people think it weighed? Did not want to harm it trying to get the weight. Release in good shape to live another day.     As a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Salvation Army will not be holding their annual fishing tournament in July.     Was just out looking tonight and Myers area is just as bad as down south. I think it’s going to be a couple more days. The key is all the creeks are flowing clear now.     Want to try running some divers this spring using braid. Use wire during the summer time for high and low divers on a rods with a twill tip. Can I get away with a normal rod tips using braid or will it ruin the rod tip? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

    Yes it is open but you can not get very far down the inlet. Many low spot especially out by the light house area. A friend of mind had a kayak out last week and said it was maybe a foot deep in some spots. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

    If you’re looking to buy a fishhawk X4 or X4D you will not find a better price than at Northwoods Wholesale outlet. They have definitely the best price on all fishhawk units.     Went over and fish Seneca lake today with no luck. Usually this time of year I fish the south end and both of the salt plant areas. I know Seneca has not been very good the last few years but it was my understanding that things were starting to get better. I was surprised to not see any fish at either of the salt plants. Did not mark many fish during the day except for what appeared to be a few Lakers on the bottom. Can anybody shed any light on fishing conditions on Seneca lake? Back about 4 or 5 years ago we could go over to either one of the salt plants and see many landlocked salmon and have a ball catching them on fly rods. Now it appears that there are very few salmon in Seneca. Any information is greatly appreciated and thank you for your time. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

    Can someone explain the setup for using a fixed dipsy diver like a slide diver. I have read some place on this site about guys using dipsy diver like a slide diver. Using some type of pinch pad type releases that you can put on a fixed dipsy that will allow the diver to be connect to the wire after you let out say 25 feet of wire. It will run just like a slide diver, but you don’t have the difficulty related to storing the slide divers or the need to go out and buy a set of slide divers. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Just heard from a few individuals that they have heard rumors that Big Joh may be going out of business. Has anybody heard of any such thing?
