nope no issues with the wax.. did it sunday when the temps were the warmest

thanks i wanted the 9ft ones for my inside diver rods.. guess ill pick up a pair

installed the Berts tracks, and ran the wires for the downriggers and put a coat of wax on it.

anybody running these?? how are they? how do they compare to the diawa heartlands? gunna run wire on them

as of today there is 66% ice coverage on Lake Erie still..think the ice coverage has to drop to i think 25% but not positive on that.. the boom will NOT be pulled before april 1.... it was pulled on april 10th last spring

it was set at 80percent in that shot i beleive.. it does go away when i turn it down.. way down

well here let me show u what i got going on.. this pic was taken drifting down the niagara with the main motor off now i do have the power wire for the sonar ran to the battery, i turned on and off all things that could cause interference.. bilge, livewell, etc.. with no change to the sonar screen.. the ducer is a duel freq.. i was runnin it in the 200khz mode with a 12degree cone.. for some reason i think the 12degree cone is part of my problem in this shallow of water.. i went out to 50fow and the screen got better without really changing any settings.. but in the shallow water im pickin up alot of crap as u can see.. anyone else think its the duel freq ducer? i have a single freq ducer 20degree cone i think im gunna install to see if this helps my problem

actually it is coiled up.. i will look into that also.. any other ideas on anyway to sheild it?

i think im getting interference problem through my transducer cable.. i really cant route the cable any other way in the boat... what i would like to know if there is a sheilded tape that i could wrap the cable in.. or any other type of sheilded wire housing?

saw you in the artpark drift this afternoon.. was pulling the boat out at the same time you did.. i was in the black alumacraft

the Niagara still continues to fish very well with some big fish around! fishing started alil slow till we found what they wanted to eat.. lots of boats out today! all fish came from the lower US drifts. sacs and pink worms did the damage.. over a dozen fish netted today

def was a good show!! picked up a few diver rods for a decent price.. met a few people as well! oh and the Niagara is fishing HOT right now! finally got a chance to drop the new boat in on sat!
