yeah we are going to be at the state camp site. do you guys use wire for the dipseys?

i have a 16 ft boat that i mostly use for walleye but i was going down to keuka for some camping and my buddy told me that i would be able to take my boat out on keuka and grab some lakers. i have no riggers so i was thinking of picking up a couple of mini trolls from a buddy. anybody have experience with them? do you like them etc..

found one of these in mom's garage of all places. anyway, really can't get it working off of my battery. only works when i hook it up to an extension cord and plug it in to the wall. first of all, does a 12volt marine battery have enough juice to power this up? second of all, it makes a buzz when plugged in but doesn't go up or down. Am i doing something wrong? any help would be appreciated. thanks

want to start using wire for the my divers. going to use wire but what i would like to know is the exact set up that you guys use? do you attach the wire to the dispsey then put a leader on and where do you put on the snubber? also what do you use for the leader, how long, what poundage. really confused. any info would help a ton!!!!!!!!
