  15. You can buy regional Navionics card base on where you intend to fish and you can view what they look here: https://webapp.navionics.com/?lang=fr#boating@6&key=a%60ghGvhezM and I would say that the HOOK2 will give you a crispier view. The only Navionics card not compatible are the Platinum. Once you are on the chart viewer zoom in until you can activate sonarchart on the blue button on the bottom left corner of the page You can view the region and prices here: https://www.navionics.com/usa/charts?charts=NavionicsPlus&fn1/
  16. Some clarifications and help on that post:
  17. There is some talks about converting mechanical steering to hydraulic specially for the I/O; There is some infos that I think will be appreciate: Most popular (Mercruiser): Power Assist steering = Power steering pump that is operated by the engine power pump which moves the Mercruiser power cylinder (not the Teleflex cylinder) . Cylinder required HC5328-3 to work with a SeaStar Helm pump and lines. You will have a hydraulic power assist steering, meaning, a hydraulic helm pump (HH5271-3), two steering lines, that run down to a power assist cylinder (HC5328) which in turn screws into the Mercruiser power assist cylinder (Mercruiser part) that is run from the power pump and this Mercruiser cylinder is connected directly to the drive. Non power assist steering = No power pump and/or power steering cylinder (no Mercruiser cylinder on board, no power pump) requires manual Hydraulic cylinder # HC5332. This means that all that you will have is a helm pump (at the steering wheel), two steering lines, going to a steering cylinder attached directly to the outdrive (HC5332). With no power assist you will be manually moving the steering wheel, meaning that there is no power assist. 18. The best outfitter in the province of Quebec Air Tamarac are in Harrisburgh
  19. At this moment the Ghost is limited to a 47" shaft; 52" is coming but still to short for my usage. So, standby
  20. @JTM203SOUTH Needs to be connect. Helm-1 feature a variable voltage rudder feedback sensor. Only compatible with NAC-1 autopilot computer. So in the ap set-up you choose rudder feedback instead of virtual rudder feedback
  21. @dbitting: Nice set-up Be sure that both unit are running the same software version (very important) Save wpts not necessary that you save settings because you need to start from the beginning Put everything ON then to a autoconfiguration Then after that go to network and sources and verify if the right sources are enable. Once you got youre system running as it should save the settings so you won't have to start over again. But in the case you still have problem try to do a hard reset (this why you save youre waypoints on a sd card) I can sent you my personnal cell phone # and you call me once you are in the boat. Another very impostant thing: be sure that you have 12.3 volts and more at the units.
  22. Before I forgot there is also a important update for the NAC-1: NAC-1 Software Update Release Date: 3 October 2018 Version: 1.0.03 We are pleased to announce a software update for the NAC-1 autopilot computer. Some customers have reported that the NAC-1 is not memorising external feedback sources like RF25 or analog signal into NAC-1 computer. After repowering the unit could randomly select VRF. The software has been improved to prevent this from happening. Software upgrade can be done from AP44/48 and IS42 using USB, MFD using the SD or microSD card slot, or by using the ST10 and swup tool software. Download NAC-1 Software Update
