  1. Docks at Sandy are partially under water. You need boots or get wet feet. No problems at I-Bay launch and it's probably closer to you. Been getting some kings in 100 to 200 ft, about 3-5 miles off shore out of I-Bay but I don't think the lake forecast is very good for Sunday?
  2. What do you mean? how did that picture look out there off I bay.

Two biggest were 10lbs, the rest were 2-5lb. Stayed in about 125ft of water straight off the bay. Did do a little bigger one Monday, 14lb with four or five small ones. All kings. ====================
  4. I doubt it. I don't think having a season pass would make any difference but I don't know for a fact either way?
  5. The Irondequoit Bay launch at the north end of the bay in Rochester. Buy the passes at the launch, $100 regular and $65 for senior 62.
  6. That's good to know they have the passes. I agree, they should give you a sticker for each trailer. I not sure what's happening at the river launch as they've taken the launch fee signs down. I hope they don't close the launch?
  7. Is anybody besides me irritated that they have to keep buying a daily launch pass and can't buy a season launch pass yet. I buy one ever year as I use the launch 50 or 60 times a season. I've also been told the pass won't be good for the Genesee river launch? Anybody know what's going on with that launch?

    I-Bay 7/8

Good day, 7 0r 8 keepers, nothing over 16", all on 5inch blue fleck sink worm, went through half a pack. Started early and quit early to beat the heat, 5:30 to 9:30.
  14. The bay was fine. The lake was rough. It's supposed to be calm tomorrow. (Friday)
  15. Fished the west side docks this morning. Got three keepers. The big one was my best for the season, 19.5inches, 4lbs.
  16. Hit the bay for a couple hours before the rain came in. 6:30 to 9:30. Fished the docks on the west side with s 5" worm. Picked up 2 keepers about 16".
  17. Bow mount. As far forward as you can get it and still work with the lines. As mentioned in the previous post the board tow line will hit your rods in turns the further towards the back the mast is mounted. Also mount the mast as high as you can for a couple reasons, 1 the release slids out quicker. 2 the tow line will stay clear of the waves better in rough water.

  22. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s):5/19 Time on Water:9 till 12:30 Weather/Temp:60's sunny Wind Speed/Direction:west 5-15 Waves: 1-3 Surface Temp: 44-46 Location:cowsucker creek LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits:4 Total Boated:3 Species Breakdown:2 browns 1 bow Hot Lure: Trolling Speed: 2.4 -2.6 Down Speed: Boat Depth: 5 -12ft Lure Depth: ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Started late as it was supposed to rain until 9. Caught two browns and a bow. Lost a nice atlantic at the back of the boat (7-8lbs). Used the net to remove the hooks? The lake got a little choppy with a west wind, 3 footers with caps so took me and my 17 footer 35 minutes to travel 4.6 miles back to Sandy.
