  9. i thought that was kind of crappy what the pro-am comm. did to team cajon they had boat issues on sat. and got to the weigh station 5min. late but their fish were pre- checked and gill punched which is the same line for weigh in when they came to the scale they got dqed for being late and did not weigh their fish. i feel once the fish were pre-checked they should have been weighed they could not appeal because there was no weight of the fish
  10. hopefulley it will be at the ballfield at abes tackle last year there was a hobby or flea market going on there so they had the weigh in down at abes waterfront there is a lot more room and parking at the ballfield compared to downtown
  11. that is correct meeting is 6:30 at the fire hall spoke to wayne co. tourism they said there were 27 am boats and 38 pro good turnout as of now sun. looks like a blow coming 20 to 25 out of sw 4 to 6 afternoon winds hope it holds off
  12. was on wayne co. pro-am web site it said sign up was fri. 5 pm deadline for oswego june 26 and fri. july 3 5 pm. for wayne co
  13. any one check the loc board salmon div. shows a 19lb 7oz. salmon as grand prize leader question i had thought you needed 20 lb. min. for salmon div.
  14. CHECK AT SCREWIE LEWIES IN FAIRHAVEN
  15. yes i have th e lcx-15xi i believe the only diff. is yours is black and white and mine is color whats the problem
  16. from what i read on these posts most people that DO NOT enter the pro - am is based on the observer rule personally i DO NOT agree with it either you want more teams try 1 year without it.
  17. what integrity i personally saw a charter capt. take a 16or 17 in. salmon lay it on the deck and stretch it to 19 in. while the observer watched you could hear the bones crunching. i also saw an observer stagger off another boat 2 beers in hand if people need to cheat TO WIN more power to them i just feel you would get more teams to compete without the observer rule
  18. throw out the observer rule for the amatures, most of these boats are under 24ft. which makes a more comfortable fishing outing just have 3 man teams for the amatures i am sure you would get alot more teams
  19. hey bushwacker what was your boat doing floating around out at 200 ft. didnt see anybody on board thought maybe you and the mrs. were down below taking care of bus.
  20. i travel 230 miles 1 way from, pa. to sodus bay were my camper is. i try doing long weekends fri. sat. & sun. or sat. sun. &mon. and also bring a few friends to split costs mainly gas. i was going to upgrade from my 22ft. but with the price of gas my 9.9 kicker keeps the trolling costs down it sucks that the marinas are getting 30 to 40 cents a gallon higher than town prices. one good thing is i do not have to tow my boat back and forth that would be a costly item could be lots of boats for sale this year
  21. why would you run expensive shark weights in skinny water 8lb. balls would be more than enough plus if you snag bottom cheaper losing a lead ball than a shark weight
