    Motor controls

There should be an adjustment starwheel where the cable enters the motor to adjust this. You may have to loosen a a clamp down to adjust but that should resolve.
  3. Looks Dee-lish!!! Cherry or Apple seem to be perfect for smoking fish due to the light and delicate smoke flavor they impart.
  4. If you want to attempt yourself (and save some $$$) wire brush it and coat with POR-15 (look up on internet). It's an epoxy paint that seals even badly rusted metal and stays nice for many, many years. I have used it through the years on old trucks, a rusted horse trailer and a 50+ year old wrought iron fence with great results. My guess it would last longer than a sandblast and re-paint too.
  5. I had an Aluminum boat that was hit by a car (when parked...not on the water the dealer repaired by riveting patches in. Great repair, that boat never leaked a drop of water for my uncle for 5 years or so and me for 5 years or so. If it is already heat damaged it seems welding will add yet more heat and a patch my serve better. My 2 cents.
  6. Hook up a 12v bulb or test light inline on your positive(red) battery cable. The brighter it glows the more current is being drawn (a short). Try to half-split the circuit by disconnecting connectors/wires halfway between the battery and motor until the bulb dims alot or goes out. A dimmed or outened bulb indicates no current flow/no short. Try the starter wire, alternator wire, keyswitch wire, on board charger etc until the bulb dims or goes out and you wll be close to the culprit my friend. Tom

Looking for somone with a bigger boat to share cost and share knowledge with me and my 8 year old lil' guy for Salmon or Trout. Thanks! Tom (and Trevor) (your welcome message to LOU - anything else you want to say to the community goes here).
