    Sold 9/13/16 2005 Ford Expedition XLT 4x4 with a low 78,000 miles. Cloth interior, third seat, factory trailer hitch, running boards/steps. Everything works including the A/C. This vehicle is in exceptional condition. I am the second owner and it was well taken care of by the first owner. I have the service records from the first owner. $7900 or best offer.     I had a 22 Sylvan with the 3.0 for 8 seasons. It was a great boat, top speed low 30's, fish all day on minimal fuel. Could be towed by an S10 at the time. Great on both lakes. Would take much lake as I wanted to take. The Islander would be the same, I looked at those as well.

    You are the highest point or one of the highest points on the water, boat material really doesn't matter under those circumstances get off the water as quickly as possible.

    The questions to ask off the top of my head, was the transom done as well? How was the floor done and was the whole thing done, including the cabin? Does he have receipts for the motor work?

    I have seen a few boats advertised for sale in the past few years that had diamond plate to replace the floor which I presume has been aluminum diamond plate. There are better ideas to replace a floor so I really don't understand why you would go in that direction. Unless it is one of those west coast specialized aluminum boats.

    Updated 1/24/17 Location: Dunkirk, NY 2008 Saturn Outlook XE Front wheel drive. 3.6 Liter V6 Third row seat, trailer hitch 89000 miles ​ Set of summer tires not mounted. Snow tires on now like new Has been off the road the winter of 2014-2015 and 2015-2016. I am driving it this winter. Can comfortably tow 3500, I think the rating is 4500. This vehicle is in excellent conditions and shows well. $6900 or best offer The only reason it is for sale is to get something with more towing capability Can take any other pictures you would like to see.

    The are enough of us on here that have had experience with restoring old aluminum boats (in my case 1956 and 1986) and you have done the repower. You need to define what you are trying to accomplish(hull rivets or something more) and someone can point you in the right direction.

    Just for information, I have had a bellows fail in four seasons. As stated above give it a thorough inspection. Main bearing and those related parts $$$$.
