  1. at $2999.00, it is well under the market. It in fact is priced in the range now of small fishing boats(like the one I am trying to sell). There is risk involved in buying anything that is 30 years old but right now, the trailer is almost worth 1/2 of the price.
  2. Taking it off line to store it for the winter as of 11/7/16. 1992 Grumman 16 ft with 1992 30 hp Evinrude electric start long shaft tiller and trailer. Currently this boat has the floor torn out, I have all the new pieces cut and ready to install. Casting platform up front, center walk through passage between the seats. Boat has not been used in three years. Fires and runs fine. Water pump replaced in 2013, pumps water strong. Putting this up for the week or so prior to storage, today is 10/18. Would like to sell this fall as I am trying to pare down my fleet. . Boat located in Dunkirk NY.
  3. No, 60's through 80's OMC prior to the COBRA were stringer mount completely different.
  4. I have a 1986 Sea Nymph 19 which I bought a couple years ago. Previous owner did the floor, I did the transom, new high top, new steering cable etc. Bought a used 90 hp Mercury 4-stroke. Boat does not leak a drop. Given all that, when you look at new it is 35 grand plus. And yes the deal pops up from time to time in the mid teens to do an upgrade. But the question I have is why upgrade when I know what has been done to my boat, just like the gentleman who started the post.
  5. Sold 11/25/16 14 ft Mirro Craft, 1975 15 hp Johnson, and Dilly Trailer. New transom on boat 12/15, new winch on trailer 7/16. $1100.00 or best offer. Located in Dunkirk, NY. If you do not want the motor, we will adjust the price accordingly.
  6. If this is the Crestliner Authority it is a relatively new model whch just came out in 2015 or 2016.
  7. Boat is in exceptional condition, someone got a good boat.
  8. If it is the 19 version I have a 1986, I thought it was 25 gallons til this weekend-now I think it is 30. Thanks
  9. Going into bankruptcy and then being purchased by Bombadier there was a lot of bad quality product produced under the brands Evinrude and Johnson in the late 90's and early 2000's. Hopefully it is nothing major but I would zero in on the powerhead.
  10. The Silverado can tow a 24-25, problem you may have is if your twelve year old is up to it with the launching and loading at age 12. There is a 22 Sundancer, there are also some 23 Regals or 23 Carvers if you like that style of boat that still have a lot of room. If you just need a cuddy, the 22 aluminum such as the StarCraft Islander is an option, lighter and it is less intimidating. Had a 22 Sylvan aluminum for 8 years, which can be loaded and launched by one person, did that many times.
