Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: Bout Time ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): 7/5 7/6 7/7 Time on Water: 5:30am - 9:00am every day Weather/Temp: sunny 80s Wind Speed/Direction: W / NW Waves: 2 -5 Surface Temp: 63-66 Location: slightly west of chute / straight out front LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 3 for 5 / 5 for 7 / 2 for 3 Total Boated:10 Species Breakdown: KINGS and Lakers Hot Lure: Die Hard MUP rig / Spin DRs w/ A-TOM-MIKs Trolling Speed: 2.0 - 3.2 Down Speed: 2.0 - 2.3 Boat Depth: 150 -250 Lure Depth: 90 - 130 ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Things are set up almost perfect for this time of year. Lots af bait and fish around. Best water for me has been 190-220 range. Wire Dipsies out 330 - 360 with Green/Whits Spin Dr and Green A-Tom-Mik's have been the trick. riggers parked at 110- 140 have also taken fish. Suprising rig for me has been Die Hard MUP rig off rigger at 137 accounting for 4 out of 7 hits on one trip. Kings have been all 18 - 23 lb range. I did lose a "screamer" on a 340 wire diver that took all 1000' and kept going. . i will post pics when I download them

I received this reply from another site that I posted the same question "Mike I have a 2352 and had the same problem. As was stated go to the hardware store and pick up some weather strip. I used 1/2 inch wide by 1/4 inch thick. A ten foot roll is needed for each side. Place the strip on the high part closest to the fish box not in the trougth. At first it will hold the cover up a little but soon settles down even. This stopped the water going into the box from the rain and when I was the boat.

I have a trophy 2352 with 2 in-floor fish boxes. When it rains they both fill with water. they both drain to a catch basin and get pumped out but I was wondering is this normal. Can I put some kind of rubber seal to prevent them from collecting water? What about other boats with floor boxes, do they collect water? 'Bout Time Mike

i run 13 pounds A-Tom-Mik

I know there have been similar topics in the past, but I was wondering if anyone has had any problems picking up Torpedo shaped downrigger weights on their Fish Finders. I run a Humminbird 787 and I lose the weights after 40-50'. i havent tried adjusting the angle back yet just thought I'd ask first

Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: 'Bout Time ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s):5/13 and 5/14 Time on Water:5/13 5pm - 7:30pm and 5/14 6am-noon Weather/Temp: Wind Speed/Direction: Waves: 1' or less Surface Temp: Location: LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 5/13 6 for 9 and 5/14 2 for 3 Total Boated: Species Breakdown:5/13 all northerns 5/14 coho and steelhead Hot Lure: Trolling Speed: Down Speed: Boat Depth: 10-190' Lure Depth: surface to 50 down ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== On friday Afternoon I took my Dad and Uncle out in the bay for some Pike fishing. we were 6 for 9 and lost a BIG Walleye at the boat. On Saturday morning we heading west looking fo browns and had one release on a goby spoon off rigger down 4 over 12' but came unbuttoned. We trolled for next 2 hours without a touch. picked up and headed out to 100 plus. At 160 we took a small coho of the boards pulling a custom taped purple spoon. At 170 we took a nice Steelhead on a 2 color core off the borad pulling an orange dodger / green fly. The fish fought hard for a liitle bit then just gave up and came in on the surface. when I netted the fish it appeared that something had bitten its tail during the fight. It was still bleeding when I brought it in. The closest it came to our prop was 10'. I saw another report about this same thing. what is eating or trying to eat the steelhead?

I was able to move up and couldn't pass up the deal. 25.5' hardtop, kicker motor, auotpilot, track system, and washdown. Thanks to Chris "Irish Knots" for the deal. so far this has been a great platform to fish off. Still getting things in place that work for me but I almost have it dialed in.
