Plenty of penetration! When u track, go slow with another arrow knocked. just incase you spot him alive and can get another one in him. Track quietly as you can. (I see snow on radar if your close to where its going may want to give that an option into how long you wait it can hide blood on the ground) but. I think you will find a dead deer pretty quick! My. Clover plots have still been getting hit good. My sorghum plot has not we need to get a camera on it. But we have sat it a couple times and i saw one buck eat off them, but overall they have been just going around it. Well see if they hit it a bit more late season if not try something else next year. I have been getting my man cave organized, deer heads, fish and birds hung up on my new deer wall and re doing the upstairs bathroom. A buck i passed up 2 weeks ago now showed himself in the rain this morning. So im getting my cousin in my stand i passed this buck out of hoping he gets a shot at him tonight! One buddy saw a nice mid 120s buck on a doe on one property we can hunt so we got one of our other buddies who lost some land in there tonight. To try n get a crack at him. He came close, had him grunting and running doe's near him and he passed up a basket 8 point. So at least he had some action. He hasnt seen a deer in a couple weeks! Thanks guys! Deffinitely a lot pf time thinking about his bedding. Staying out of the property till he felt comfortable enough to come out in the daylight. Hunted food plot this morn only saw a spike. So got down to a pinch point to eat lunch. 5 minutes later he comes walking by! Put my lunch down and grabbed my bow as I was on the ground. So waited till he was behind a. Tree drew and stopped him in an 18yd opening with not a twig between us!
