Can other get the pm? I fished there. 3 times this year for musky in my center console. Tried casting and trolling. No cigar did see two thou. Caught a couple pike and a few bass. Then we fished the ditch a little bit got a few eyes nothing crazy thou. Lake is really dirty on the one end and clear on the other. Its deffinitely a weird lake to fish. Have hit up oneida 2 times and chaumont 2 times. Oneida lots of short walleye. Few keepers on the mix. Decent # of perch around. Fished of lewis both times. Haven't made to my other spots yet. Fished chaumont once with brand new ice. It was a sketchy 3 inches do didnt venture too far. Went again and we got. A 12.5lb eye. A laker A pickeral a small mouth and about 40 perch. Something interesting. Now 1st week Nov everyone knows is good. First week of december bucks were chasing does. Now first week of january. They are 100% worth it just for the human activity part. Your decision to hunt a stop can be vastly altered. For example you have not had a day time pic of a shooter at all. But there is one walking at night. 1-no cell cam, hunt it and find his home core (extremely carefully) . 2- keep human activity as low as possible till you do get him on camera during the day. I have not found it to spool deer. Maybe a mature buck will know its there and avoid it some. But we have got pics I them smelling them leaning on them. Sleeping directly in front of it. Amd if someone else is sneaking on you have then caught in real time. Pending they. Dont steal it. Even using a cell link to adapt to a camera u can get into for as little as 50$ using a camera you have now. And spend 3-5$ a month on plans. I. Personally. Have killed my last 2 bucks with info gained from them. Last years buck walled 200yds from me and I never knew it without the camera. I saw it waited 2 hrs nothing came by me repositioned near the camera. Well never connected with the one i was chasing saw him with a doe this morning. This is the most I have encountered one buck and not been able to get a shot off (with the bow) I saw him 5 times less than 100yds. frustrating but only hope.to get his sheds at this point and see what he turns into next yr!
